Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

I typed the word "Raxxla" into one of those AI art programs. This is it.

It's a lot more boring than I expected. :p
I've done Raxxla into a couple of AI image thingies and kept getting back weird Japanese Manga/Tranformer/Power Ranger images.
I keep seeing loads of Codger's Rock around too, though now someone's mentioned it, they've all hidden. Shy things.

I thought this was a cool shot, passing by a GG on my way to one of it's moons.

I recalled the dang ship after driving 1.2 k out of this crater and it lands right back where left from, doh.....

I didn't know that either! Is it true?!
If there is no cargo in it, it does not overheat. I've never noticed this in any other ship.
With cargo internal modules take a little damage every jump from the heat.
On the plus side it's cheap and has made back it's purchase price already trading between different markets and I'm half way to a 50.market network already. I won't have to fly it for long and I can shift the Engineered FSD V1 into a Python soon.

When I first started flying the Type 7 with no cargo I wondered what The Pilot was doing wrong in his video. Forward to time index 3:09

This is what I get when loaded with cargo.

So far, I have found the Pilot's ship reviews to be quite accurate.

My god man, you have entirely too much time on your hands.
Well, shallow it may be, but all I've ever wanted was to be left alone and play video games, ever since the first one I played (that wasn't Pong) :p

Retirement allows me to actually do that, pretty much. I spend a lot of time with the dogs, too. And I do some music. But video games are just really fun to me.

My favorites of all time?

In no particular order:

Elite Dangerous
Skyrim
Dishonored (all 3 of them)
Cyberpunk
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Fallout 4
Dragon Age Origins
Sniper Elite 5
Rimworld
Dyson Sphere Program
XCOM 2
X4 Foundations
Far Cry 6
Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain
World of Warcraft

I've enjoyed tons of other games as well, but I think those are my favorites, the ones that I replayed a lot and still play.

I probably forgot some :)

It's all good, if anything I'm jealous. I own ED, No man's sky, MechWarrior 5, Everspace 1&2, Halo: Master chief collection, Titanfall 2, Mass Effect Andromeda and X4 Foundations also. I'm stuck on ED now and loving it. ;) I also have Epic with Horizon Zero Dawn and The Outer Worlds, I really liked Zero Dawn a lot, I wish Sony would hurry up and port the just released (PS5) Horizon Forbidden West to PC.
