Lucky you.Yep me too, on both sides - so i'm not sure what i managed to accomplish in terms of "power struggle", but i did walk away allied to both of the conflict factions

While I did retain my top 10% for the Imps, I only got top 50% (slipped down from top 25%) for the Feds since I couldn't play last night due to the &^*#^$ Steam launcher bug. All in all I had about 150 to 175 Mil in bonds.
Ah well, I'm off to find the Thargoid surface site in Merope...whenever I get to play again...I'm currently in the beginning of designing/building the front and rear decks for our house...

When my, new to me, X-52 Pro arrived and I plugged it in, almost all of the in-ship binds were there. I've only had to add a few since then.Have a happy few hours' binding time!
Of course on-foot binds are an entirely different story...especially left-handed mousing...

I’ve had those Steam/ED login problems a few times over the years, typically when installing on a new machine or HD / SSD, or after game updates - fortunately not recently though…
Don’t think you missed much last night, didn’t seem to be many players around and curiously the CZ payouts seemed to drop significantly - got just 3m after another win at the High CZ…
…and then there was this party of ships at the station entrance when i tried to go into the High CZ in open - which led to my dropship waiting in “queue” until it got a station “exit now!” warning …so i relogged into solo and played last round from there.
Found me a new Clypeus, worth 16.2 million credits on a Co2 moon with 8 biosigns.
More to come, I saw in Elite Observatory a stratum that is worth 12 million, didn't recognize the name.

Here's the stratum, I've seen it before but not in a long while (Stratum Cucumisis).

I was running passenger rescues out of a Thargoid invaded system and got ganked right outside the rescue ship I was to drop them off at.
Think about that. You have nothing better to do but sit outside a rescue ship in an FDL and gank an unarmed rescue ship trying to help out in the Thargoid war. Yes, that happened to me. That is why Open is a complete waste of game mode and always will be and why nobody really bothers playing it anymore.
I just recently installed Neverwinter Nights EE with a steam key from some gamestore site, thanks to a freebie deal from my gaming magazine. Had played the original before*, but the CD is lost in the abyss of moving boxes. And I guess the key has found Raxxla...

Some people just seem hell-bent on messing with other players on-line - i always suspect they were the bullies who stole others’ lunch money at school - and they still haven’t grown up… it’s a great pity that Elite’s Open Play mode seems to be the kind of “playground” that these creeps enjoy abusing.
…that said, after a few rounds of the somewhat limited selection of CZ’s in the recent CG, i took a deeeep breath and ventured in in Open for my first time evah - the results were quite fun actually, as i got chased around the settlement by two Dominators… who couldn’t quite keep up with me
I doubt Raxxla will ever be fund. Perhaps there's no such thing and the Dev's are just stringing us along.
