how does this guy even play? When I do a free fly, it takes a couple of hours just to get through all the FIDELITY and reach a destination, if I'm lucky and nothing goes wrong.

While I agree that we have already way too much ships. CIG kinda put itself into a corner where their sole revenue comes from releasing new ships.... which kinda makes it impossible for them to actually stop making new ones...

If you are not prepared to give it all up for the BDSSE then you are a filthy casual and have no place in this greatest of endeavors.

You are not supposed to play SC. You are supposed to live a second life in the Verse. Life is grind, life is tedium. This is how fidelity works.

No news still from CIG about the SQ404 thing? The longer it goes without a store update or response by CIG the more it becomes game press article material I suppose 🤷‍♂️

That's only if you imagine that all those $45k+ Pokemon ship collectors actually play the game or watch SC streamers to be even slightly aware there are bugs in 'The Game'.

They're collectors, not players. They post fleetpix to impress each other on Spectrum...strictly in the concierge areas of course, going beyond the wall into general topics is off limits for the majority of them :)

...That's not to say folks who've spent that kind of money on star citizen over a period of many years all fall into that collector bracket, our small-ish org of veteran SC backers has it's fair share of wing commander to legatus level backers who play far more regularly than I do 🤷‍♂️

The way it is going it could actually be a pretty effective way to get around inheritance tax.. "one day son, you'll actually get to fly these ships.." "goo goo ga ga"
