It's an odd one that doesn't really ring true, to me. It * sounds * like someone with the info backers/"haters" might have trying to pretend they were an employee.
Generations to come, lol. They are making tools and systems that will be used for games seen for generations to come, so please put the respect for them that they deserve.
"Citizen who?"I mean you're not wrong there.
It reads like it's from someone who is a non-technical middle manager. It's an odd one that doesn't really ring true, to me. It * sounds * like someone with the info backers/"haters" might have trying to pretend they were an employee.
Not least this line, which cannot be written by an actual CIG dev, surely:

Wild.
Shift due to cashflow and game development. heads of each have changed and will have a positive impact, but backer-side this is not seen. You will see more quality patches, but less frequent. you will also see more $$$ pushes.

So Starfield started active development in 2015. Why is Squadron 42 not finished yet, after 11 years? - Star Citizen Spectrum
We, the backers, deserve answers from CIG. It would be nice to hear directly from Chris Roberts as to why they have failed to deliver Squadron 42 in a timely manner. We don't deserve excuses....robertsspaceindustries.com
Cig is still a company in the works.
Oh, never bring that up. You could be the biggest Star Citizen cheerleader under the Sun, but if you bring that up, there are backers who would draw blood if they could. It's like they have to force reality into their mold, and it doesn't matter if you show them the actual dates, and the actual statements by Chris or the team at the time, it simply is. not. true. No matter what. Ever.Ah, the old CIG only had X number of employees in 2012 guff.
Even if true, it wasn't the backers who were saying they would deliver SQ42 and SC in 2-3 years. It was Chris. Chris was saying the game(s) would be released in 2014/2015. So if CIG really did only have 3 or whatever people, he was claiming either they could do it with very few staff or they could ramp up and build the company quick enough to deliver.
