The best outcome of this CG might be a bit unexpected - which is that we get one or more systems under thargoid invasion after the weekly tick. There are several inhabited alert systems that are just beginning to be cleaned.
It means that many cmdrs who are normally engaged in tissue sampling have switched to the gold rush.
So greed is not always a bad thing! And also, neither the server crash nor the long wait for the FC jump are not as bad as they seem!

I think Njorog(14.7ly from Taranis) keeping Op Ida and allies busy for the better part of the weekend, Monday and Tuesday also contributed to a certain degree.

Also 65 Kappa Tauri is "slow" alert, due to large SC distances.
Candidates for invasion are HIP 116360, Vistnero, Ebisu, HIP 25679.
So after the gold, get the AX weapons ready!

Wow, top CMDR - 140,000T in 4.5 days, that is 5 T9 deliveries per hour, for avg 8 hours per day, have I got the math right?

<Slinking out of the house> - reminds me of:
Crew asking Alan Rickman in Galaxy Quest : Where are you going?
Alan Rickman: to see if there's a pub!

EDIT also 46Bn profit if bought at 45,000Cr/T

too bad that the change in controlling-faction derailed the security CG.
You can take massacre missions from a nearby system for that faction and I found they work just fine for generating pirates as long as the missions are in the CG system.

Doable if you know where to source the goods in your carrier. You don't have to make a profit, just buy gold for about the same price (advertise in your FC) then deliver it.

It's more like 10-12 cutters per hour when unloading a carrier in another system and a lot of it was done early before nearby stations were empty so it was more efficient than loading a carrier.

To not have to make credits again for Carrier upkeep. Ever.

Steve
They don't need to sign up for the CG for that. Someone savvy enough to make a bot that auto docks a large ship (mine doesn't work well enough to trust), finds and fetches gold and reroutes based on supply, if that person is doing it for credits, they are smart enough to not join the CG else they speed up the timer for the gold rush. This is someone dedicated to the CG.

With CGs like this you can really tell ED is winding down with its life. They really don’t care at all about the economy anymore (arguable that they ever did) and they just want to make sure that credits are not a barrier to content for anyone.

No, no this is an annual event, happens once pr year. Perfect for new Alts and new players to have a quick catch up start.

I could agree if it would be first time.

But currently whole economy is one, giant goldrushXD
Casual bh- dozens millions
bonus from missions- dozens millions
stack of average (no, not meta WMM) missions-100m in 2 runs to ONE station.
I could say something about exobio, or AX but I will stop here
