COMPLETED CG Deliveries Requested to Commemorate Duval Family (Trade)

In the past there have been situations where the CG has finished too early, denying some CMDRs the ability to participate at all or, or to make a decent contribution.

I suspect that if the global awards had been what many would consider meaningful (modules or ships for example) then there would have been more CMDRs signing up. And given that the carrier owners have a big advantage over the non owners, many of the latter CMDRs would not get the decent rewards and they would be pushed down the pecking order, the decent rewards going to those who do not need them.

Providing mined items might be one way to go to level the playing field between those who have and those who do not have a carrier.

It's going to be fairly marginal this time as to whether it finishes early or not, but the target is relatively low by historical standards regardless at 57 million tonnes.

Colonia Bridge Phase 3 delivered 165 million tonnes (>15,000 participants) for the Alcor half, for example. If Frontier had been expecting massive participation, they'd probably have set the final target on this one a bit higher as well (and do have the option, if it looks like a CG is going to end really early, of adding an extra tier or two - though probably best not to rely on that especially over a UK holiday long weekend)

My current estimate plot:

Needless to say, the poor protection CG has been a disaster (at least in terms of achieving its target goals). Quite a huge imbalance between the two parallel CGs.

Part of the issue, or just the issue from what I hear, seems to be the fact that the faction running it is not the one in system control, nor does it have any other systems it is in charge of.

Great thinking on the bounty hunting side there…

Mine has disappeared from the transaction tab. Also nothing happens when I click on community goals at station

Edit: tried logging out and back in also and not reappearing :(

Yup, i can confirm the CG has vanished from both the transaction tab and the mission board. Have tried Open/Solo, and double checked that I am playing Ody.

As the game came back on line after the downtime it was still there, but due to endless Braben tunnels whilst jumping from system to system I relogged several times/got booted out. Now the CG has vanished.

My missions vanished temporarily. Returned after I logged back in from having to restart because my internet decided to stop working for a few minutes. Might also do for the CG if you relog? (I had to fully close the game and go back in.)

Have tried that. My mission which has been waiting to turn in since before update is showing. Just no CG

The same thing (no CGs) happened to me on Sunday when I first logged on after the incident where everyone was booted out. After Fdev did whatever they did, the next relog took everything back to normal.

Just performed a full, fresh relog, exiting the client completely. CG has gone. The relog was super fast though, from starting the launcher, to being in game was much quicker than usual.
