Gosh I hope so, 5 years of content would be fantastic. When the game first released I figured 2-3 years of content. Of course, I also was thinking larger expansion, but maybe the numbers will end up the same.
Did frontier say they get high ROI from dlcs?
From PZ in general I assume dlcs were meant because the ceo said players keep asking for dlcs and we’ll keep making them

Possibly, but I think it's still probably better to be more cautious at just guessing at the next year ahead. I mean, just because "players" keep asking for DLCs it's a little more nuanced than that. It has to be a profitable number of players. There will always be people asking for new content - which is fine, it's just that at some point it's no longer a ROI to make the new content.
I wouldn't go that far, personally. I would say 2024, and then we'll see what happens next
I agree. This does give a bit more optimism than before, so it may be possible we get new features, like animal-human interactions and maybe even WE birdsMy hopes are up for at least 2 more packs in 2024.
And a quiet hope for the whole year, but if they really want to promote the game, I think they must come with some real gameplay changes . Not only to keep us all interested, but also to make new players enthousiastic about the game

Yeah doesn't make any sense to say planet zoo is doing well to then cut off support.
Well, there's obviously no guarantee, but past Frontier games, such as Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Evolution 1, just stopped abruptly, without saying if a DLC is the last or not

The better news is that each end of a game was large expansion compared to average dlc. Essentially once a planet series game gets a larger, pricier dlc then its safe to say support is gone.
Overall can be viewed as not good news, but they've pretty much said it's profitable and they'll continue to make packs as long as players want more In business speak that's: they'll continue to make packs as long as it's profitable. I feel like the Developers team is very invested in Planet Zoo and its content, but let's not lose sight of the fact that first and foremost Frontier is a business, main goal is to make money.

That is a very good point I hadn't thought about. Their overall strategy or roadmap may dictate ending support for PZ even when it is profitable, so as not to delay the next Planet title. Granted, they've shown they can work on more than one game at a time like the Jurassic World series, but it's not the same as two Planet titles at the same time, and throws in the cooperation with the Jurassic World Franchise.
In my opinion it makes the Most sense to keep your profitable Games at life until you have a Potential new profitable Game and not to Stop it making no money for months. Especially when you have struggled a Bit financially Like Frontier did the Last years and you have 2 Games to compensate your other Games.
