Game Discussions Cyberpunk 2077 - official gameplay

I had some strange stuttering in the game, and it was really annoying me because i got a steady 60FPS on my 6750 XT that's probably a low end GPU these days :D but
I just don't have the money I had years ago to buy a 4080 or 4090 GPU, hey I got 5 kids to feed.... anyhow it was the stupid adrenaline app that was fighting with the game and after i turned everything off in that app is was butter smooth again, and here I thought it was my mods and stuff that killed it, sometimes life as an old gamer is hard 🤔😭😂

What's the app for?

The jittering and lower resolution is not fun to watch imo.
It’s one of those things about recording VR - in-headset everything looks normal and fine but the recording picks up all the sub-millimetre movements our heads do but our brains “tune out” and as a result it looks like a horrible jitter-fest. There are now smoothing filters in VR software that helps with this (which I try to remember to switch on when recording 😅) and I always try to slow my head motions as I find fast natural movement unpleasant to watch.

With my 4070ti I’ve got CP2077 looking as good in VR as it does on my 1080p monitor (I don’t have the exact numbers but the VR game mod resolution is roughly 2700x2700) - the players with 4090s have got the in-game resolution cranked way up to something like 4000x3700 so I can only imagine how good that looks.

4090 yeah, you need to sell your first born to get one of those, it's insane how much these puppies cost.
$1.500 USD and up that's the cost of my complete PC build LOL

Aye - I was able to get a 4070ti at a “reasonable” price (I managed to grab one on a short-lived Amazon listing at £780 when they were usually selling for ~£100 more) and I got a very good price for my previous card to help offset the cost.

There’s no way I’m paying over a grand for a graphics card though; I've got disposable income but that just seems ridiculously extravagant 😅 I’ll just settle for turning settings down in my games and enjoy them anyway.

Well, there was a time where i didn't really cared, if i wanted something i just got it, however as a semi retired i really need to get my "needs" in perspective or my wife will do it for me LOL 1500 is a lot for just gaming and as we get older we need to be sure there is money in the war chest for surprises, my 6750 is ok and it do just fine, but of course a 4080 or 4090 would be nice, that being said AMD is actually not that bad and I see 7900XTX on sale sometimes within the range where i could jump in, buuut still yeah...

the space port in 2.0 is interesting, there is even a bus in route and lots of stuff going on inside must be a part of a mission i guess.

Oh, that area is now reachable?
Yes there is a whole space port you can go into.

It's outside city limits. There is a checkpoint where the Biotechnica greenhouses are. This is where you enter the city as Nomad. But when you tried to go back, the game would just kill you past a certain boundary.
ok, I need to check that out, so much to see and i still haven't seen it all.

But Nomad start hamlet is still unreachable? I still have an open tab with that sherriff.
I got there by heading to the southern border wall's eastmost reachable point and hopping over it using some rocks and the double jump cyberware. The landscape glitches out a fair bit if you go too far from the wall, but you want to walk west along it until you reach the nomad starting area which is fully modelled and textured.
Worked in 1.5 and 1.63, and my save there loads up fine in 2.0
