Caecilians look so nice and kinda smiley most of the time... But then they open those scary jaws and become a cursed prop from the first Alien movie

Guys if you could get one more wall set in the game, what would it be?

I would choose those vertical brown bricks you always see on zoo buildings

Honestly, what I need the most is a second set of concrete walls. Something intermediate between the set that came with the Conservation DLC and the basegame concrete set, which is way too smooth. I need a concrete where you can see the texture of the formwork (I had to look that word in the dictionary Haha), like this:

Allow me to break the silence with providing yet another long list of reasons why we will get an Alpine Animal Pack:

• We've had several biome packs, not a single cold themed one.
• We've had several tropical packs recently, the last true mountain species we got was the Amur Leopard which to put into perspective was in Summer 2022.
• Can include a variety of diverse animals and has several animals that frontier could choose that would be welcome.
• Takes care of the Wolverine and technically the Hamadryas Baboon (I'm sure if we get Gelada it will fill everyones baboon / baboon like species needs)
• Follows 2 (kind of not really reliable) patterns, those being that we get a cat every other pack since Europe and we get a Caprine every other winter pack.
• Like a biome pack should, Alpine can include animals from multiple continents (Africa, Europe or Asia, South America, Even NA with the Elk), something themes like Tundra cant do very well.
• Alpine/Highlands doesnt have a scenery piece theme, so it will be an animal pack which we're pretty dead set on it being.
• Only has 1-2 unique rigs and heavy animation work animals, rest are primarily clones.
• Includes popular animals including a bear, primate (NO not the clown monkey, the Baboon) and 2 caprines probably, which people generally seem to like.

Just let the thread be silent. Everyone knows you want an alpine pack and there's a good chance that's what we'll get. Things will likely start to happen within the next three weeks and the board will receive another boost of activity.

Nobody knows for sure. But based on when the most likely release date is (12/12) and how long they tease/reveal things between the announcement and release dates... I think sometime mid to late next week would be a very reasonable guess as to when the livestream or teasing might happen.

So really, any day except for Friday could logically be the announcement. One thing to note, though, is that given the statues of things at Frontier I don't know that we can necessarily 100% assume a livestream will be happening. I'd guess it's likely to but we might also be in for a different sort of roll-out this time around.

Does Texas have Cheerwine? Not the bottled or canned variety but the glass bottle kind.

As for the caecilians, I find their toothy maws rather endearing.

Ah yes. Whataburger is mostly localized in Texas. I'm not saying this from bias, but it's way way better than McDonald's and Burger King. The burgers have actual flavor

But anyway I do think we should get back on topic, and a topic I haven't seen brought up yet is changes to current animals.

In Arid we got an update to the Bactrian Camel (at least I'm pretty sure) when we got the Dromedary, when we got Little Penguin, we got an update to the King Penguin. What do you hope / what do you predict might be the next animal that gets some changes based on whats coming in the winter?

Not that I wouldn’t love this, but the animal that gets updated usually is very similar to the new one. The closest thing to this would be the Pallas Cat, which imo isn’t close enough, but frontier could definitely prove me wrong.
