How about an ice age survivors pack ?

Muskox, saiga, great bustard, wisent, argali, wolverine, alpine marmot. No idea for the exhibit though.

they should do a video of them going on a hike with them looking for one of the animals of the new dlc or just sacrifice a marmot to the hyrax god.

hate to be rude but, what would be better a unique and cool baboon or a slightly different version of the mandrill. and I don't mind the thought of a drill either but theirs like 30 primates way more.

On the topic of the tropical pack for me this dlc ranks towards the bottom of my pack rankings. The animals weren’t terrible and added animals definitely deserving of a roster spot. I guess one gripe would be the gibbon instead of a new world monkey. After the siamang the gibbon wasn’t high on the list for me at the time. I wouldn’t trade it now as it’s part of the roster and is a pretty good animal. I guess to me having a tropical pack as a scenery pack just doesn’t do it much justice with so many tropical animals in the world. The five animals were solid and safe imo but arguably it could have been better.

the pack was too safe is the thing the animals were all good and expected picks and so was the scenery but there was nothing eye catching or extremely unique about the pack so it felt kinda flat not bad just boring.

Yeah I can never truly plan my zoos I just let them organically grow and it for me produces some of my best habitats.
This year has been pretty underwhelming on the animal choices we went from one of the best packs and years with grasslands, conservation, wetlands and the introduction of walkthroughs being incredible to whatever arid and tropical were and then oceania which is on par with twilight in that it is extremely polarising. The only thing that everyone agrees was good this year was the peccary which is only marginally better than last years animal the red deer. Hope the winter pack is a good one.

They wont do a primate pack no matter how much we fight for it for 2 reasons one it will only attract those who want monkeys so anyone who doesnt wont buy the pack full stop which there are quite a few people who have no interest in monkeys. Another reason is why include 5-8 animals that could all be pack sellers together makes no sense people who desperately want monkeys will get the pack whether it has 1 2 or 8 monkeys.

bruh first of all we have 5 asian primate 3 of which are brachiating apes which a monkey is very different from the GSNM is like the halfway point between between the macaque and the proboscis monkey and would provide good greater asia representation comparing the monkey to the fox is insanity even though I would like the fox more monkeys give me the creeps.



I really liked oceania everything else was really meh I want something good to end the year.

yes I would gladly wait for my 2 most wanted packs antartica and tundra if we can get birds in them.

With the primate pack idea I think the slow loris could be put in the walkthrough exhibit. It's a very slow similar to the sloth, honestly they could probably re use the sloth rig for it and it'd give them a chance to update the sloth exhibit so it's more customisable.

@CharlieXGaming that is true. We knew continental packs would finish off each one. I have to admit I’m surprised frontier hasn’t thrown in a pack like a primate pack yet. It may not be everyone’s favorite pack but an animal pack consisting of primates would possibly finish them off. The only question of course is what would the exhibit animal be?

I think most of people here would find that kind of pack very useful.
Exibit animal could be a Bushbaby or Lori or tamarins which would probably be the best idea if we get a variation of 5 of them.

If we push it to ‘Ice Age Relatives’, we could get the Spectacled Bear as one of the habitat animals and Linnaeus’ Two Toed Sloth in the Walkthrough Exhibit!

Arctic Hare , Leopard Seal and Elephant Seal are not present in zoos as far as I know. So I would be very much opposed to them.

That's why I tend to go with the Snowshoe Hare as an option. Functionally the same thing (almost identical range too) but with captive presence.
