Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

Sorry to say this 😃. But the Musk Ox beats the Golden Takin by far for me.
I mean it’s obviously personal preference. I, for one, find the Muskox to be the much better choice in every way. But you prefer the Takin. And that’s okay.
In a game where we got the Scimiar Oryx, Addax and Dama Gazelle, there is no reason we can’t get both
I meant like if you showed a casual player both these, that’s what I meant by without bias.

Honestly muskox i think. Most people will have atleatst seen them before
I think the Same as MarvinB. At least I have Heard and Had an idea how a Musk Ox looks when I was a child but I have Heard of the Golden Takin the First time Here within the Forum. The Musk Ox seems to me the more obvious choice for a more Common Public. Perhaps this is only own experience and a Lot of other people have more the Idea how a Takin Looks compared to a Musk Ox 😃.

I said out of attraction, one’s gold and ones brown. For a person to look at them both, purely off of attraction, takin I believe is the winner.
Takin and Musk Ox aren't "fighting" for the same spot. Musk Ox can't make it into Mountain pack and neither can Takin in Tundra.

So it's not that much about preferences. Only maybe that Musk Ox is more likely to appear in Tundra pack than Takin is in Mountains.

That is difficult to say as we all know the animals too much. But I Always Love the weird and even the scary animals. While the Golden Takin definetively Looks Kind of weird the Musk Ox beats this to my opinion. But honestly I could live to get all 4 remaining Higher requested goats (Musk Ox, Takin but also Markhor and Barbary Sheep). They are all interesting in their own way. I would go even further and would have no problem with the inclusion of a Chamois or a Mountain Goat.
Goats in General Look much more interesting to me than sheeps for example and are also much more diverse in the appearance.

I thought you wanted gelada over golden snub-nosed monkey?

It is nothing like that french guinea is on the other side of the world greenland is in the middle of the arctic circle close to both north america and europe. Its culturally european but evolutionary its been arctic animals which are predominantly shared anyways with a north american leaning.
French Guiana is a department of France so is France proper. Greenland is a constituent country of the kingdom of Denmark so by its nature is less Danish than French Guiana is French. Additionally, Greenland Inuit are closer culturally to Inuit people from Canada than anywhere in Europe.

My interest in tundra species began and ended with the polar bear and reindeer... I'd like the harbor seal, but I don't see it getting in either before or alongside the walrus. For me, all of the walrus, musk ox, wolverine core are too niche for me to get any use out of, and the only way such a pack could be saved is if it was rolled up into a Canada pack alongside the American black bear and white-tailed deer. I really hope we don't end up with the second pack in a row that does nothing for me, so I'm hoping against hope it isn't tundra. Mountains are fine, tundra bleh
That is the hottest of coldest takes. Or is it the coldest hot take?

Though I completely disagree personally I do understand where you're coming from with it. If the biome holds little interest for you, that's your own preference and it's the right one for you to have.

FWIW I also am less hopeful for a straight out Tundra pack myself, though it would have plenty of animals I'd be interested in, I see more interesting pack ideas with animals are are found in several biomes that include tundra, but are not strictly limited to it.
