They should have stopped a long time ago. But now they cut so deep down into that list that the birds and monkeys are finally reaching the top. They better not stop now.

The original one definetly got kinda outdated over the time.

Its totally cool that you love the tanuki and if we get them, thats great and ill be happy for you, but personally im not the most interested....is what i would have said but wait they climb trees?
Thats genuinly really cool and combined with their more unique appearance and them being super common due to being an invasive being found in 157 EAZA zoos, id be quite allright with them as a filler pick for a pack, just not for this one.
If we allready have 2 ungulates and 2 carnivorans i really hope the other 3 animals do the heavy lifting regarding diversifying the pack, with the mandarin duck, hamadryas baboon and a lori being my pipe dream picks

I realized halfway through writing that it was a joke. I hope you get one of the duck baboon or lorikeet! :) Those are very valuable picks.

Yes but there is quite a lot of animals that were near the top that riled up people like the lar gibbon, basically half the arid animal pack, quokka, even the kiwi and now the saiga. I think it would be more beneficial to look at the newer meta wishlists or just general trends in community forums as people's opinions on what is needed change often depending on what gets added.

New metawishlist is fine by me. Coati and monkeys and birds will still be on top :D
