I think a Lot also comes from false expectations which are away from the reality. I already posted it here earlier this day. Hoping for a Pack is a different Thing than expecting Something coming to the game. Flying birds and a Lot of Monkeys are now just not that realistic. And these expectations are in a certain way also fired by the content creators. With a realistic view we will Just expand the rooster with a few (1-2) expectations per Pack. Either you are Happy with this and I am or you are Not. And If you are Not there is always the possibility to Just Not Support this practice by skipping this Pack.

I never really expect specific animals in packs that just a great way to be disappointed. I just expect uniqueness instead and so far all but oceania has been a disappointment on that front this year. The only reason I dont like the current half of the asia pack is that everything is very similar to what we have.

I couldn't agree more! While I will admit that an Asia pack (assuming that's what we're getting) isn't super high on my wishlist considering how many animals we already have from that continent, I'm still excited for the animals that were teased so far, especially the Wolverine.

I feel after a year of all hot packs grasslands-oceania having a year of all cold weather pack so asia,temperate,taiga and tundra will be a refreshing break with antartica somewhere in the middle. Then by the time we get bored of the cold we get a desert pack and a central america pack or maybe just sprinkle those 2 among the cold packs.

It depends on your Definition of uniqueness. Wolverine and Takin surely are unique animals. Not in a taxonomical way but their whole appearance is not really similar to their closer relatives. And regarding bears the Sloth Bear probably is as unique as the Spectacled Bear is. And the Saiga surely comes with unique behaviour hopefully opening the door for a Dik Dik next year.
Arid Pack brought the Porcupine. Especially in Design aspects the Most difficult animal we got this year. We also had No donkey and No really small cat until then. The Tropical Pack brought the Fossa and the Sloth which had No counterparts within the Game before.

Man i sure hope next year wont be all cold climate.
Im not sure im gonna survive yet another year without a monkey :D

I think that a year of cold climate packs would get old fast and is extremely unlikely. The equatorial regions are the most biodiverese land regions on earth so getting more species from those regions makes sense. I do agree that the North Hemisphere wasn't represented all to well this year. But Latin America imo should be first priority next year not North America, Europe, and Asia.

For me is not about expecting specific animals but more so not wanting certain animals when there are others i want more and considering we don't really know how much longer support is going to last. So every pack that includes a couple of giant oddballs feel like a missed oportunity for other animals i feel are more needed. (example being wisent and saiga instead of takin and blackbuck/markhor/muntjac for instance)

Also i'm expecting certain animal types, not necesarily specific species. Like habitat birds. And again even within this group there are species that would be dissapointing to get like another flamingo, green peafowl, emperor penguin... all of which feel like direct clones when there are a lot more unique birds we could get instead.

For primates i'm good with anyone that isn't the celebes crested macaque just because it freaks me out (oh and the barbary macaque because i think is just a boring version of the japanese one)

I'm good with whatever theme. I wasn't expecting anything in particular. So i'm no disapointed by that, but if the supposed takin turns out to be a wisent and we add saiga to that which was never of interest to me then so far is looking pretty much like a let down for me.

I know most people do, and adding it seems like a Frontier move. I don't think a langur is likely I just really want one

I like the Asia pack idea but can we have 3 more animals please. Make it a animal pack, i am worried that this is going to be like the Artic pack. Just 4 animals and not even an exhibit animal.

There is really no reason to believe there could be No Exhibit animal in my opinion. Animal or Scenery Pack. We will explore tommorow. I also prefer an animal pack
