I’m hoping we get the back carrying animation because swans will also carry their babies on their backs.
Wouldn't they show it beforehand anyways even if that is the case?My only hope for the piggyback riding is that they have saved it for the developer journal
It's hard to believe that this is the first new bear we've gotten since the Southeast Asia Animal Pack 2 1/2 years ago. I had a feeling that we'd get another bear before support ends, and the Sloth Bear looks amazing!View attachment 377549
Sloth Bear - Eurasia Animal Pack!
- Oh my god frontier NAILED it! it's looking absolutely phenomenal! I wasn't super excited for them but now! oh man I think they gonna be one of my fav from the pack FOR SURE! look at those adorable cubs!
Cute little ferocious piggie! I'm glad you're in the game you were one of my most wanteds.I think the opposite, it looks really good in the trailer, in the screenshot it looks kinda sad.

Latin America Scenery PackYeah, spectacled bear is a must whenever we get a South America revisit pack. Alongside monkeys, tamandua and rhea IMO.
I mean, I'm hoping a hidden part of the update is that some of the Cross Foxes could have white where their orange goes.Had a thought that's probably unlikely, but maybe? Given the focus on Eurasia, maybe the HBB will be updated to EBB in update 1.16? I know it's been mentioned by myself and others before, but kind of like a hidden part of the update until the actual rollout?
Just a personal opinion but I would actually dislike that. They should have added the EBB in the first place, but now that it is a subspecies from Asia, it would feel wrong to change it to a completely different subspecies that lives in a different continent. I just do not see it happening as it would mess with an already existing habitats in peoples zoos.Had a thought that's probably unlikely, but maybe? I mean I don’t think they’d outright replace the HBB, but I wouldn’t be mad if they did! What would be the better option is just to add in the EBB alongside the other bears, requiring no work at all!!! I am always hoping for that secret update as well, getting something for the Indian Sandstone set would be ideal and works with this update.I mean, I'm hoping a hidden part of the update is that some of the Cross Foxes could have white where their orange goes.

I got the idea from the Psuedo melanistic tigers! I think in PZ world they will all be orange even though IRL they could be orange or white...
Another secret update I hope for is more flexicolor!
This is not the bear we wanted. This is the bear we needed.View attachment 377549

I can understand that in part. But doesn't the Eurasian Brown Bear also live in Asia? It would mess with the actual country's were talking about, but as far as tags and foliage go, I would think it would make it more versatile to use, not less.Just a personal opinion but I would actually dislike that. Yeah, we obviously have several sets of opinions about it...you and I with the group that want it done, those who don't want it done, and those who don't care. None of the opinions are wrong just different. My gripe with it is that now that it's arguably the highest profile missing animal from Europe, and since it's sooo close to the model being right there, it's the easiest change ever IMO.I mean I don’t think they’d outright replace the HBB, but I wouldn’t be mad if they did! If it's anything more than a name change, then changing it from one subspecies to another would be pointless... the amount of effort required, they might as well just keep the HBB and make the EBB a separate animal.Had a thought that's probably unlikely, but maybe? I just didnt want to leave this thread go scroll back through the winter dlc speculation for about 100 pages of spam. Can’t be all that common then….
Realism is at least somewhat subjective based on a list of presumed criteria like we can all agree the tyrannosaurus rex is unrealistic but for the longest time I thought waterfowl was unrealistic and look what just got teased because frontier hasnt given us a list of what they use to determine an animal viable for the game everyone has to determine for themselves what is unrealistic both in what can be added and what should be in a zoo it is subjective.Didn't say that either. Though "unrealistic" is an objective measure. You wouldn't say the tyrannosaurus rex is a realistic pick for a zoo game, would you?
Don't interpret people's posts. What you did was simply put words in my mouth. I said what I meant to say, plain as day. I make my own arguments for myself and my point-of-view. Whatever you've read in similar discussions before isn't relevant.
It looks about right to me. Some bears are fluffier than others - here is an image of a Sri Lanka sloth bear, if I recall correctly, they tend to have shorter body hair than the Indian subspecies. Is it just me or should it look more fluffy?
Probably just me.
