Though I hope it's not NMS terrestrial vehicles those are just bad for controlling
I hope the same, or else it will be a wasted opportunity.

Or perhaps they refer to travel between planets and landings.

According to what they said, they are paying attention to the comments from the reddit community and what is happening in Nexusmod.

No matter what BGS does with vehicles (or whatever), a vocal minority will hate it.
Nobody hates that you come with updates, what is hated are the ways in which they are carried out. A good way to do this is by giving users options on how to manage or explore said content to adjust to what the majority wants. That is why it is so important to know what the majority thinks on Reddit, and the mods that are downloaded the most on Nexusmod. That 10% don't like an update is laughable.

When I heard about "new ways of traveling", my first thought went to riding wildlife.
Why? Because it's, possibly, the one way to add something while making things worse at the same time. 😆

I'm curious about the changes anyway, looking forward to them, in fact!

I would like some kind of hoverbike. Maybe add a exocraft ship module to the landing bay? Restrict its speed to no faster than sprinting with jet pack if performance is an issue. That would be immersive enough for me.

That's what I was thinking - maybe fast travel forms make it unstable? How about human mortar? You pick coords, calculate trajectory and powder and kaboom yourself to the destination!

Steam says it was my most played game this year. It probably competes hard with WH40K Darktide which I played from 2022 into 2023. Yeah, nah, Darktide prolly don't come even close - played that only on weekends. Rogue Trader won't reach it either, I guess - I'll likely be playing that into 2024.

I've never done the NG+ because the main story was a sideline compared to being a space explorer, to me. Talking with another player a while back, they were shocked that I've never met Andreja in my 250+ hours.

Still having fun. Still finding new POI locations (how is this possible?) while out on planets. Easily my favorite game of 2023.

13 million players, 1.6 million star born. Seems NG+ isn't as enticing as some would have us believe.
Well, I want to. But I also want to play the coming expansion in the first galaxy, so I'm not moving on. I also kinda don't want to rebuild all my ships...yet. So I'm slowly exploring every single planet and still haven't built a single outpost.

Looks like the game is sending statistics of my gamplay to Bethesda? I can't remember agreeing to that or seeing such option anywhere to switch it of.

I've put some extra hours into SF, and in the end, i've decided the game simply isn't engaging or ripe enough for me. Its missing the charm of the Elder Scrolls games and just isn't drawing me in.

So, for the moment at least, its uninstalled.
