Edit: I assume the Caustic launcher only ejects sinks that are full of / or at least have some caustic absorbed right? I.e. I can just map them all to a fire group and be done?
Also, any need for the anti-shut-down thingy?
1. They run full and then you ditch them. I put them all on a single button and ditch them once all of them are full
2. No shutdowns should appear anymore, except from a stray Interceptor. I got one today morning, but nothing bad happened. Collecting the anti-interceptor device could be coming in handy still, and I certainly would recommend it, as there are 7 other Titans ahead.

So what's the plan for the Metldown event. Do you jump into the Titan instance and watch from a distance? Get past the cloud and watch? Watch from supercruise while orbiting it? All we have is a countdown and go to the system...
Good question. Considering many of us have never really been interested in visiting a Titan until now...lots of noobs who don't know what they're doing lol.
The biggest hurdle you'll face at the moment is getting intercepted along the way. Probably a hyper-diction followed by a few supercruice interdictions. Just drop, boost, jump back in and it'll be fine. Equip Causic Sinks from a rescue ship and don't forget to fill ammo. They way these work is they will absorb caustic damage and have a bar in the UI that fills, once full you'll start getting causic damage, so eject it and the next will begin to fill. These are used to get through the cloud around the titan You don't need a Pulse Neutralizer anymore. Just keep boosting and caustic sinking through the cloud. The Titan is all jacked up and nothing was going aggro. There were interceptors coming out of the custard and leaving. NPC ships will send repair limpits to you if you are in Solo. I think I want to jump into this in OPEN to share with everyone, as these kinds of big events don't happen often and it's kinda exciting to share. It may be a big networking test for sure. Although solo still allows you to see the chat with everyone so may be a bit more stable.

in the message they invite to enter the map instance and watch, even a countdown is present... anyway a rebuy cost is nothing for witness the first Titan meltdown, what else.
