Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

Just one species? If I had to be objective right now, I'll say the scarlet ibis, it ticks a lot of boxes:
  1. Extremely unique for the game, we don't have any ibis or something similar at all.
  2. Gives Latin America a bird that can be used in many different habitat types.
  3. Extremely common in zoos globally so familiar to a lot of players.
Triple win, give me the bird. My runner-ups would probably be the white stork, pelican, and rhea.

Helmeted guineafowl, its the highest ranking animal on my personal wishlist that is very unlikely to come to the game.
I do want SA monkeys, coatis and the like aswell, but those have a very good chance to get in before the end.
Whereas i dont really see any way in which we would get a guinea fowl, like i dont see how it would be picked over the secretary or crane, not to mention non birds for a safari, savanah or what not pack

Yea guineafowl is crazy underrated, absolute icon of the savanna.

Yeah.

A combination of getting news and promotional material only for the console version which not many of us has much interest in, a general sense that the game is ending and that the next DLC is probably the last so we know we will be dissapointed regardless of what it is because of Frontier's track record with roster selection compared to community's picks and because a lot of community favorites will be left out for good from the game if they don't make into the next pack, and also the fact that we have pretty much covered all there was to talk about in speculation about the new upcoming content (wishlists, themes, animals, props, updates, etc).

The last two planet coaster DLC were in April and June 2019. I know the pattern was slightly different but I’m wondering with the console release, if the final DLC will be released in June and be a bigger one than normal, with a new game aiming for November release.

Having said this I’ve noticed on Steam Database it’s being updated later in the evening, which means the team are working late and is usually a sign of things ramping up.

The new financial year starts April 1. The next dlc will be before that.
