Thargoid invasion - Next target systems?

Slowly indeed. Even with that thing Mechan (or someone who he is in touch with) discovered, it’d be a bit long to take down the Titan like this.

Where will you people gather to attack Axzones (high intensity) around Oya systems?.
There is any "hotspot" full of players fighting against Thargoids?

The quite clever @CMDR Vulkarius has a little pilot locations report which listens for broadcasts, if that helps! Clearly at M. Oya, many are defending HIP 6913 and a few are attacking the Spire site at Lyncis Sector WU-P b5-0.

Finishing Invasion and Alert systems is good this week. Starting Thursday, the Spire site will require a heavy siege!

Here we go!

I imagine the Cephei Sector will have a great Christmas, in 3313!

Apparently there's a feature/bug where you can just shoot at the cap of the core even when it's not exposed and the damage will buffer. When the core is exposed, all the damage you did will register.

Quite unlikely intentional?

Indeed, and that explains some of the improbably high credits numbers I was seeing! I have a picture with over 7 million credits solo at T. Leigong, which ought not be possible given that I had Thermal vent. I know now why—I was emptying the last few missiles just after having attacked the core, and remaining aimed at the core was as good a place as any to do it.

Spire sites.... Not in Odyssey, so no spire sites for me.
To help, its time to battle Ax Zones.

Pretty nice this Thargoids story, and enjoying it, but I want Elite offers me what its premise promises:

Explore new worlds, Ammonia worlds, Water worlds, full of life flora&fauna worlds, even enter in giant gases worlds.
Acquire suits to explore such worlds, etc... I can wait sitting on... Meanwhile, Titan killing from my ships, no legs for no exploration by my side.

Thank you Aleks, I will have an eye on that link.

By the way, the occasionally 2 million credits (max) in a single row against Leigong turn into 5.5 million (max) once Leigong went to "compromise". Hope that helps to confirm your data about Titan state - damage ratio.
Great job over the months with Thargoid war.

On your last point, i confirm also i was getting 5-6m per hit in compromised state now only getting about 200k from Onya

Short field report from HIP 25654 - the spire site appears to have turned off again. Explains why there was 4(ish)% progress accumulated during one week and then stopped.

Why have the Thargoids decided to abandon it again despite holding the system? I dunno. Maybe they don’t see a point with no Titan. A little disappointing because I wanted to check if it still had the Taranis glyph markers despite its destruction.

BD+77 84 samples tank now in position in Cephei Sector DQ-Y b6, 5k buy order set.

Sorry for the quiet, been a bit buried in offline projects for work, hence the 4am checking in - 5k because I figure at least, if the buy order covers the full amount worst case it can be taken out the next week, taking it that overall efforts lost a good chunk of time this week due to headbutting the titan wall, but at least the invasions/alerts will be gone in sector, and there'll be some progress to carry forward.

From a rough DCoH check...

Reasonable chunk of progress through the recaptures-to-block-alerts shortlist, I'll assume the 30% floor on the outer ten is the spire at work - kudos to those persevering despite the gravity and cruise compared to other maelstroms' spire offerings.

Maybe all of the predicted alerts at M. Oya can be prevented or at least two of them. SNPX is planning a sample session this evening in the systems
1.) Cephei Sector ZE-A c8 and
2.) HIP 3006 (or help in BD+77 84 instead if needed).

Lovely initiative! Definitely I had not expected one-third peripheral progress at M. Oya so close to the end of the half-week after T. Leigong, but well done indeed to those attacking heavily the Spire site at Lyncis Sector WU-P b5-0. Even if it is difficult to use it well this week, exactly that is needed each week; not necessarily the full 85% progress, but consistent progress is very valuable.

Our evening will be a bit full with a few more stabilising actions planned at M. Hadad, but definitely continue listing payloads—it eases planning a lot!

M. Oya overview
Wednesday caution!

The last Invasion is almost defended (well done to evacuation pilots!):
Bumbo Invasion 96% *98.7%Oya 22 Ly, 0 ports, 378 Ls outpost damage

Six systems are benefiting from just over 33% peripheral progress; any further activity will at least carry over to next week:
HIP 7338 Control 66% *67.8%Oya 19 Ly, 2290 strength
Cephei Sector ZE-A c8 Control 58% *58.5%Oya 20 Ly, 1056 strength, payload at [SNPX] ISS Nadira in Cephei Sector ZZ-Y b3
BD+77 84 Control 40% *41.1%Oya 20 Ly, 2664 strength, payload at BD+77 84 samples tank in Cephei Sector DQ-Y b6
HIP 4041 Control 36% — Oya 19 Ly, 2430 strength
HIP 3006 Control 32% *33.6%Oya 19 Ly, 2274 strength, payload at [SNPX] Oya Island in Cephei Sector ZZ-Y b3
Cephei Sector FB-X b1-1 Control 32% *33.1%Oya 20 Ly, 1584 strength

One other system is also just over 33%:
HIP 8525 Control 32% *33.9%Oya 18 Ly, 6048 strength

I can see, as Aleks pointed, today Wednesday Hip 3006 at 33%, Cephei Sector ZE-A C8 at 60%, Hip 4041 at 33%...
We must be able to gather our efforts in order to not waste our time and lost our progress every thursday.

If we would converge our efforts in the systems with specific order, we could have been gained a few more system this week.

Who would like to play together in AX conflict zones this next week?. Maybe we can do something united.

Hip 3006 at 33%, Cephei Sector ZE-A C8 at 60%, Hip 4041 at 33%...
Because the 33%s on those are mostly from Spire activities, you can't add these up to assume that it would be equivalent to >100% progress on one system if focused.

What's happening here is:
~33% from the Spire (which has also contributed to the Alerts and Invasions already cleared) to all three systems
~27% from direct actions in ZE-A c8

With sampling allowing progress to be stockpiled before hand-in, some of these systems may also be closer to complete than the in-game progress measure says as there may be a substantial % tied up in samples pending delivery.

Coordination is certainly needed - but is also already happening more than just the basic completion report might suggest.

I think I just got hyperdicted by a Glaive.
Definitely faster than a boosting Krait.
No swarm, no mass warning while charging FSD.
First time I've seen one since the announcement.

With the peripheral progress, very much so—as an example for @Reaversword, for many Commanders the only agreeable choice for helping at all a system such as Cephei Sector ZE-A c8 is to besiege the Spire site at Lyncis Sector WU-P b5-0. This also progresses systems such as HIP 4041 unavoidably, but without the Spire option that choice would be absent entirely, so I would consider any surplus result at the latter to be a nice head-start for the next week!

Another consideration not shown there is that HIP 4041 and HIP 3006 are not equal strategically in the context of leaving one of them occupied; stopping the latter this week will also stop a new attack, whereas the former will be silent this week and could wait until later, if one had to choose between them.

Regarding possible non-Odyssey actions, it occurs to me that Titan rescues at Cephei Sector BV-Y b4 could actually be of use at present, insofar as they should help HIP 7338 and add surplus progress to HIP 8525!

Apologies -- was half awake and hadn't checked internal comms my side. For 3006, AXIN's CMDR Thordeas has >1800 samples towards that and was planning to gather a few hundred today to finish it, told me to count that one done. Just got home now so, will do a few hours on BD+77 if I've chance, 0 samples that side so far.

All right, thank you. So we will help in BD+77 84.

Would you please allow docking access, so we could sell our samples on your carrier.
