Oh, bother, how long are we going to have to wait? Please tell us that we won't have to wait until May to get the new DLC Man. They really are keeping us hanging on the cliff just waiting

It's the Outsource_iqa file being updated, meaning something is being translated, with ultimetly leads to new content.
The outsource qla file on steam is usually updated a few weeks in advance of a new dlc.
The key database file for indictating an upcoming dlc has been updated, if it follows the same pattern as jwe2, it means a dlc is expected in roughly 5 weeks time.
I swear if I’m waiting an extra month and a half for an ungulates animal pack lol. The longer we have to wait the higher expectations I have of this pack.

For the past while every pack has been weaker (for me personally) than what we have been cooking up here on the forum for the given theme, even when taking clone to high effort ration into consideration.
So i dont really expect it to change for the next one, final pack or otherwise. Kind of a bummer but it is how it is

I'm very easy to please with this game though, knowing it's the last pack and having zero expectations I just wanna see what it's gonna be, I'm ready to say goodbye (Or maybe not, but who knows).Im prepared to be dissapointed

I’m just gonna parrot what @Aramar said for a second.
As one of the insane feather fiends on the forum we have no proof that Frontier won’t add more birds. In fact with the last 3 dlc we got the most bird rep outside of base game. In the last year people have been asking for birds almost above everything else. If this dlc is bigger, potentially, we may even get more than 1 bird at a time.
We also have no proof Frontier will do any of that. They have no requirement too, and despite certain community changes they haven’t HISTORICALLY shown much interest in birds. Is that subject to change? Sure. Just temper the expectations. Obviously if Frontier announces this pack and it has 0-1 birds I will be upset. I would probably voice my opinion on it too. But that is different than the expecting or demanding things.
