I want secretary bird but I’d be equally happy with grey crowned crane or a hornbill for an African bird.Everyone is biased. That is why a lot of this community views the secretarybird as essential to a zoo (it really isn't).

Just a feeling I've got. Don't get me wrong, the Tree Kangaroo is actually my most wanted non-Latin American mammal. Why tho? The coati can be done using a modified raccoon rig whilst the tree roo can borrow a lot from the quokka, neither would be a gargantuan task to make.

Ehhh i think there is a good turkey mod or somethingHonestly, I hope this isn’t the case, but if this is truly the final dlc then I’m gonna be bitter when NA doesn’t get any bird native to it. I have some hope with the roseate spoonbill, American flamingo, and brown pelican all possible to get in. Likewise there is still some hope with waterfowl from NA to get it.
But most likely the final dlc will have a single bird, most likely the secretary bird. One bird is better than no bird, but I really don’t want to rely on mods just to have a single member of Aves for my entire CONTINENT.
Also the wild turkey and Greater Roadrunner are viable options for a habitat bird for NAHonestly, I hope this isn’t the case, but if this is truly the final dlc then I’m gonna be bitter when NA doesn’t get any bird native to it. I understand the sentiment, but I’ve never been a big fan of the idea of “don’t worry there is a mod for it”.Ehhh i think there is a good turkey mod or something
I also don't have a single bird from my continent. My only hope is the rhea![]()

To answer this question: Realistic Hopes:damn, I've never had to scroll to find the Summer Speculation thread, usually right at the top
So other than the casual birds, SA, and monkeys, what animals would you want to see in a "collection pack?"
I feel the same about ibises hypothetically not perching and nesting on trees from being made into habitat animals.to have birds that typically fly not fly, they'd feel like it's a waste.
Other than unreleasable native raptors, US zoos (including accredited zoos) still have macaws and African vultures in open top enclosures. The latter especially get pinioned or clipped to be added in savanna enclosures or areas. Also, I have seen raptors in open air enclosures, but those are typically hurt and unable to fly anyway; I dunno about other countries, but in the US you can't have raptors in closed areas, they must be free, in theory
Echidna. I can’t take it anymore. Why have a song named after echidnas in the ost if we won’t ever have them?damn, I've never had to scroll to find the Summer Speculation thread, usually right at the top

I’ve seen several zoos with hornbills in open habitats too. I’ve never worked with them but I hear they can be…feisty!Other than unreleasable native raptors, US zoos (including accredited zoos) still have macaws and African vultures in open top enclosures. oh gosh, the Rhinoceros Hornbill in our zoo is super loud and vocal. Actually, they always have been, and it can't have just been one bird for all this time. Probably a species thing.I’ve seen several zoos with hornbills in open habitats too. I’ve never worked with them but I hear they can be…feisty!
The short answer: it's possible, perhaps not likely. We have no idea.Do you think we could have news in June? I remember it happened that we had to wait barely 2.5 months only between two DLCs sometimes![]()
