That’s clear as skyThey watched my videos and saw how fun planet zoo is
We'll have to wait for either one of the streams or the full report to see what the future brings, for now the "later this year" dlc should be the only dlc people should expect to get.I will say this, while I don’t like to rain on people’s parades, let’s remember that doing better financially is not the same as “we are getting more DLCs”
We know we have one more coming, at some point in the future this year
To be taken with a pinch of salt hopefullyPlanet Coaster 2 just got confirmed

eh, this is as concrete as the steamdb things that come before DLC’s lol. not from the horses mouth but certainly is in the stableTo be taken with a pinch of salt hopefully
Yeah pretty similar, the coaster ride building follows the same style of transport track building and isn't too difficult to work with. Are the rides similar to our PZ rides?
No, planet coaster has the exact same paths. Is the path system better?
I would definitely wait if you are used to the features of planet zoo, a new version hopefully includes many new or improved features will make the experience much better.Or would you experienced players recommend waiting for a pc2 to give it a shot?
Honestly if they find a way to improve the building and pathing I would actually be hyped for a future PZ2, I’ve talked about it briefly but I often get frustrated with building in PZ to the point of I put the game down. I’ll say it is on me for not prioritizing practicing my building, making more plans, or using anything pre-made. But if anything is made to be more beginner friendly/ streamlined that would be fantastic. Still I have a number of issues:Yeah pretty similar, the coaster ride building follows the same style of transport track building and isn't too difficult to work with.

For me personally the pathing system in PZ isn’t bad, I don’t get frustrated with it often but it’s also no dream, there’s a lot of stuff in this area that could be improved. While with practice it gets better, the path system is still frustrating. On a good day it works fine and gives a lot of freedom. On a bad day though, my goodness it is hands down the worst part of the game.
The building part for me is fine but building when I’m inside of a building is really irritating, like my camera goes freaking nuts if I turn it when I’m in a corner in a building.I don’t know how, but if we had a way to make indoor building better I would love that. Once again I know a lot of this comes down to experience. Also roofs suck, especially if you try to make a big building it can be a pain.
A perfect system for blueprints in my eyes would be the ability to make piece blueprints - meaning you could combine pieces to make like a custom fence for example, then click a new option labelled “make official piece” which will combine all pieces of that group into 1 and be put into the market with the plain white background and everything. Very similar to blueprints but more organized.Optimization for me is key. I know PZ is not the worst game, but man the piece counts add up fast, on top of the NPC models. If you want a nice looking building, a lot of pieces get used. So I don’t know how. I would like this to be fixed.
Seems like my new tutorial series is perfect for youbut I often get frustrated with building in PZ to the point of I put the game down. I’ll say it is on me for not prioritizing practicing my building,
I think the camera part was also something I was getting frustrated with! It sometimes zooms out and then refuses to go back through the ceiling. I would also be down for the mini blueprint idea, something I thought about was making more blue prints for myself. I just get nervous sharing my stuff. For me personally the pathing system in PZ isn’t bad, I don’t get frustrated with it often but it’s also no dream, there’s a lot of stuff in this area that could be improved.

I'm not sure a tutorial would even help with all that, the scope of how much knowledge required for all of that can take most people years to fully master. The tutorial definitely needs improving though, that helps players understand the actual game not the bare bone basics of building low effort habitats and some management work.I’ll put it this way too: I have played the ingame tutorial and while it is useful to learn how to play, it doesn’t teach the stuff YouTubers do.
I can be a bit of a perfectionist and a bit harsh on myself, so I’ll definitely check out the tutorials you guys do! I just wish building was a bit “easier” without sacrificing the creativity. It can also be extremely overwhelming, even restricting myself doesn’t always help.
