You can also get the Imperial Eagle without any rank at all.Since rank locking is a feature of this game, it is not unbelievable to get 2 of the 4 new ships with ranks attached to them.

When you look at the engines, it doesn't look so clean as Gutamaya ships. It seems, however white-ish, so like a Kruger. Kruger makes passenger ships only so far, but Exploration isn't that far from Tourism, khe, kheThis comparison image by WilliamBillAdama shows it's a medium ship compared to the Cutter.

Sure. Where is the connection to my post? You can also get the Imperial Eagle without any rank at all.
If I was less polite I would've asked you the same thing in mine. Rank locking is a feature acknowledged in my post, as well as getting ships without needing rank being a feature.Sure. Where is the connection to my post?
They already make a fantastic exploration ship, it just needs a tad bigger fuel scoopWhen you look at the engines, it doesn't look so clean as Gutamaya ships. Narwhal-liner is an actual thing, and was used to ferry dignitaries.
I was addressing your post quite clearly by pointing out that it is not inconceivable to get rank-locked ships with the new ones, when you were sketching up GalNet articles that explain why the new ones are non-locked. You replied with the fact that you can get a imperial ship without rank. I asked where the connection between these two statements is. If you can't answer that, that's fine. I don't see how asking for clarification is impolite, you could have done so yourself as well without me feeling offended. If I was less polite I would've asked you the same thing in mine.
And then there's the SLF gu-97, but those are all small and ships and so they don't require rank. You can also get the Imperial Eagle without any rank at all.
Looking back at the Python Mk2, a warship. I might think it would be a Panther Liner, very large, for carrying passengers.Panther clipper? Hahaahah
Need something to move high tonnage on and off carrier

At least in the shipyard screenie (which it must be as I've never seen those hangar doors in any port, but others are stating that hangar 7 is medium, which it is in a port...) there ia a NPC in the engine vent...This comparison image by WilliamBillAdama shows it's a medium ship compared to the Cutter.

Clipper + Cutter = Clutter
Medium Clutter?![]()
I kind of hope not in some ways- the Clipper is an excellent ship with prominent downsides that balance things out. The last thing thats needed is a ship that makes it obsolete (like the Chieftain / FAS)- hopefully the Clipper will have some advantage, however slim in a few areas.I'd say there are solid chances for an imperial medium ship that will put to shame the Clipper, T8 -T7 style - not like will mind it...
But what i really want is a Cobra Mk5
Unless they release two at once or in shorter intervals, yes. I've been asking throughout the first half of the year how they intend to release "at least" 4 new ships, as the first took it's time already. On the plus side we can look forward to more ships in 2025 I guess.Anyways, if they really plan to release at least 4 ships this year, as advertised in FU, they're quite behind the schedule.

Since I finally have one myself, I can say that for me the name Python 2 is justified. It feels like a far heavier ship than the FdL, initially resisting thrusters before kicking into gear. And to make sure it wasn't just my imagination, I flew several CZ with both the P2 and FdL.Well, till now we have the Python Mk2 which is no Python but more like a FDL Mk2, better armed but not totally sending the FDL to the bins
Maybe santa will bring someAnyways, if they really plan to release at least 4 ships this year, as advertised in FU, they're quite behind the schedule.
