New Ships 2024

You should try to fly out or fly in on a T10 or Beluga and you will immediately understand what I'm writing about.
whilst i admit i have not flown the beluga much (struggling to find a use for it, other ships make more profitable passenger liners), I have spent many many hours in the type 9, and a small amount of time in my T10 (i am in middle of building a T10 mining ship).......... and i dont use autopilot or any of that nonsense either ;)

That said in all seriousness i would not be against more use of the holographic display for such things........ and to be honest logically i cant see why such a feature would not be included in the larger ships if it was actually a real thing. (my cars have had distance warning indicators for many years, and this would be no different.

off topic, but I always didn't understand why the scanner on the left (the one we use to pick up cargo) doesn't switch to the same mode when we fly ourselves into the station.
Maybe because the scanner is to give a magnified view of a small item we are trying to get a slot to go around while the situation is effectively reversed when we try to fly through a slot. Besides it would make Saud Krugers almost impossible to dock as we wouldn’t be able to see what we were doing.

I don't get it. They have radar on the left ?
Yes but the glow of the light from the hologram projector that creates the scoop display reflects from part of the Saud Kruger cockpit directly behind the display which makes it almost impossible to see what is happening in the display.
It happens with some other ships but the Saud Krugers are the worst.

If you mean welding guy, at first he/she kneels, it looks really like medium pad.
So the height of the ship is like 32 meters, what means it is totally wrong, because it is almost the size of Beluga XD

IMO it is Zorgon Peterson ship, M pad for exploration :) Maybe I don't have any proofs for that, but I like this idea :D

Oh, I have and by none other than Robardin Rock asteroid base, there’s even documented video evidence 😂

Might I just add, Robardin Rock in Carcosa is also one of the Colonia regions best locations for purchasing the new Python MKII, should anyone be out that way looking.

I remember that. Thanks for being our hapless helpful volunteer to see if station guns could be avoided when you've made yourself hostile with a faction. Useful knowledge was gained that day.

When you look at the engines, it doesn't look so clean as Gutamaya ships. It seems, however white-ish, so like a Kruger. Kruger makes passenger ships only so far, but Exploration isn't that far from Tourism, khe, khe ;) So maybe crossover, for bubble and nearby passanger ship, but that poses a question what about Orca current model.

Narwhal-liner is an actual thing, and was used to ferry dignitaries.
So Zorgon Peterson, not Gutamaya but also not Kruger. I think that Gutamaya and Core Dynamics as military shipyards won't get a ship yet - so maybe we will get Saudi Kruger as a 4th one as a dedicated passenger ship.
