DLC18 discussion and predictions

Hey it's 18th September and where is my Zookeeper's Collection It's The End Farewell Planet Zoo Animal Pack Jumbo Edition ?

Honestly, this final dlc won’t be able to address everyone or everything needed for the game. With that being said, here is a small list of dlc ideas that I would be fine with being the last/ upcoming dlc:
  1. ZooKeeper
  2. South America #2
  3. Latin/ Central America
  4. Rainforest
  5. Congo
  6. Amazon
  7. Coastal
  8. Birds
  9. Tree tops/ arboreal animals
I’m just gonna take what I can get at this point, no dlc will fix all the problems or make everyone happy. I just want to be done waiting, if I end up disliking the pack that’s a different story. I’ll find out when I find out. I’m just open to the idea of everything at this point.

Solid lineup. I'd probably switch out about 3 of them, but really great lineup.

FWIW, switch the Crane for the Mandarin Duck, the ABB for the Spectacled Bear, and the Chameleon for a Cobra. The Markhor's a good addition and I'd be fine with either that or the Blackbuck, but I feel if it's a worldwide theme, one of the two should make it in.

Oh let's face it, I've probably got about 20 animals that I feel "should" make it in just based on what's possible habitat and current exhibit animals at this point.

Nice roster. I'd probably change the ocelot for the Palla's cat and add a pelican somewhere. Probably instead of the ABB.

Even if the WE is another bat or another sloth would still be hated. I think at this point anything that is not a chameleon or cobra is not wanted (maybe mantis and geckos are somewhat acceptable still and apparently more butterflies do have a following as well).

Unless they do something unexpected like a naked mole rat colony.

I can see other stuff be received well too. Like one thats a common pet like bearded dragons, ball pythons or something like that.
But i general i think that unless its a bird that noone will really care what the exhibit is, so the difference between a chameleon or something that noone ever asked for will probably be pretty small

Arid and Tropical bundle announced for console, coming September 25th. Looks like we might actually get nothing in the next announcement.

I dont think a simple animation where they rear and hood up is out of the question for something like a king cobra. Ofcourse in a zoo setting they would practically never do that but when you want it to be realistic they wouldnt work with the current system anyways because cobras are snake eating specialist so you cant keep them together, especially not in a relatively small enclosure because sooner or later the bigger will likely eat the smaller one.

I just realized this is somewhat old news, my bad. At least the PZ twitter account is seeming to get more use as of late, they even made a post for that Pygmy hippo baby!

Swap the macaque for the brown bear and the walrus for the musk ox and (almost) all my dreams would come true

It does, but the thing is Asia has gotten as much atention as Africa. A lot of DLCs added asían species. I would still welcome several though: blackbuck, Palla's cat, mandarín duck, pheasants (several), GSNM, markhor, yak, gaur, Indian monkeys, Giant squirrel, yellow throated marten, asían deers (several), etc.
