Jeez, finally! It's going to be a long week, but I'm just relieved that all our waiting hasn't been in vain. I know they said we'd get another animal pack back in April, but that feels like ages ago. So what are we thinking, a teaser next Wednesday during the livestream, then the DLC and update announcements on Friday? That's my bet.

I assume it's going to be the scenario editor, because that's basically just giving us access to a tool the internal devs already have access to and means they can do a big feature for a smaller budget. Because, remember the cinematic camera tools? Yeah, those were exactly that, dev tools we got access to. I'm willing to put my hand in the fire that those weren't developed with us as end users in mind.
Thememakers Tool Kit I'm still very cautious about honestly. Times are now different than they were with Planet Coaster. There was no active modding community back then, so Frontier investing money into it meant that their game would live longer than without it. With Planet Zoo, things are different. A theme makers toolkit isn't needed, there's an entire modding community out there that are already doing it for free and will make your game live on for much longer. Without having to invest anything in it.
But what do you think the chances are of getting just one more of multiple? Another Flying Fox, another Poison dart frog? Another snake?DLC took so long due to porting. They literally said so. The PZ community just doesn't seem to remember that
I'm personally either expecting it to be 7 + 5 butterflies, or 8 and 5 butterflies for the anniversary leading us to 200 animals.
So far the "multiple exhibit species for the price of one" has only been the case for butterflies, with other types of animals not getting it (no multiple frogs, no multiple flying foxes, no multiple bats, no multiple lizards, etc. etc.) so the odds for any other species to get that treatment seem to be extremely low.
I mean the brush would be handy, but i can definetly live without as grouping up a couple plants and copy pasting them around isnt that much more of a hassle.
Tbh i dont expect anything major, idk null exhibits would be pretty sweet
Anything is equally possible, not everything is equally probable.
I personally try to stick with speculation based on what we've had before, because otherwise you can speculate about literally anything and what's the point to that, so whilst yeah sure they could do that but they've never done so that means to be that they can't do it within the budget they have for these packs.

Planet Zoo isn't based in New Zealand, its based in a proper English area so that's why the odd barnyard picks is viable.
Fingers crossed for a minimum of two birds, as well as a second monkey beyond the extremely likely Hamadryas baboon.

No duh it's not based on New Zealand. It's also not based on a "proper English area". Either way, why should that affect what I want?
