I actually like the leopard quite a bit. Although if I had to choose between animals that are heavily represented vs those that are not then I'm choosing the small rodent since we don't have any.

Its not "not the best choice" its literally something we got and paid for twice and now for free.

I know this is NZs quip, but man this really is a "frontier is a company, not your friend moment" cause this free gift is useless at best and straight up an insult to the fact that we bought it 2 before at worst.

Its quite per defenetion awful and theres no reason why we should pretend like it isnt a cheap cope out on the yearly anniversary gift just because its free.

Id genuinly would have prefered no free animal over one thats insulting me as a consumer that has literally bought it twice before and i didnt even like it the second time

Yeah but neither of those two screamed "final pack" at the time though. Nobody really expected that those were the final packs back then, not in a way that a "Parkkeepers collection pack" does.

We're looking at those two DLCs with the glasses of today, but objectively speaking, nothing about those two packs really indicated that they were going to be the last at that time.

I really hope so.

Also to further the dictionary thing, Hamadryas was added earlier this year and markhor was added pretty recently, so it's pretty safe to say that we can treat the dictionary (particularly the newest additions) at least as a suggestion of what might be coming, even though it by no means confirms anything.

Why should anyone hype up whats basicly a shaggy old goat?
Why should anyone hype up whats basicly a chunky grey housecat?
Why should anyone hype up whats basicly a grey mandrill with a tail?

Alpine marmot was always among my most wanted animals for a mountain pack, small animals are criminally underrepresented

You're taking it personal and missing the point that other people wanted it. It's way easier to just be satisfied for others happiness than to act like you were attacked by a videogame company

My roster last winter was this I believe:
  • Hamadryas Baboon/Gelada
  • Spectacled Bear
  • Wolverine
  • Takin
  • Golden Pheasant
  • Pallas Cat
  • Markhor
  • Chinese Giant Salamander (E)
Takin and Wolverine already in, Pallas cat Markhor and baboon confirmed, if this pack contains the bear and pheasant I’m calling this a win for me lol
But anyway this is now what I expect:
  • Hamadryas Baboon
  • Pallas Cat
  • Markhor
  • Spectacled Bear
  • Golden Pheasant
  • Wild Yak (this just feels like a frontier pick)
  • Yellow Throated Marten?
