DLC18 discussion and predictions

You all might be channeling for whatever to be in the pack, but if the likly thing happens that the second ungulate of the pack is the yak i swear i hope its the domestic one.
Besides being the one found in zoos its also significantly more culturally and therefor thematically important to the himalaya, while also offering many potential fun colors and patterns instead of just different shades of black.

Also random thought, if we get the spec bear here (likly) and an South america pack down the line (also likly) we get one more likly more exciting animal from SA, most notably freeing up a slot in a rather predictable pack for another monkey, bird or just weird animal, be it the argentine black and white tegu, the only carinvoran thats a pollinator and a great and interesting addition to nocturnal houses with the kinkajou or "completing" xenotherans with a tamandua and giving us finally another climber from sa that isnt a cat or monkey.

Ngl my expectations amd excitement for an SA animal pack have been increased by that significantly

Another animal that i havent seen come up yet, but has a very real chance imo is the Japanese Serow.
They do live in the mountainous regions of the island and as far as ungulates go these look pretty different from the rest. And i think throwing japan another bone ontop of the macaque and crane so you can actually build a little section wouldnt be to bad.

Japanese Serows are also very interesting animals. If we are going on the Japan train, Sika Deer are also found on the island and live in the mountains during migration seasons. Sika Deer could be a very interesting ungulate tbh. Another possible animal (moving away from japan) could be the Bharal (Blue Sheep)?

Seeing how there is only one ungulate so far its HIGHLY likely that there will be atleast 1 more, probably even 2 more.
Its rather similar to the markhor, so my bet would be on a yak or something since those are way more visually distinct. I also feel like with the markhor, goat, sheep and takin we got plenty caprines in the last 3 packs so idk.
Would tie in perfectly with the baboon tho
If all asían mountains i expect at least yak and Japanese serow

A serow propaply is the best choice for another ungulate after the yak.
Also sneakily helps filling asias umgulate hole, adding a small and medium sized mountain ungulate would create for a nicly ballanced roster together with the large takin.

Now its only would be india, a deer and the muntjak needed to finally give the last continent all the umgulates it needs

What do you guys think the chances of the Tibetan Fox making it into this pack? It seems like something frontier would consider being a canine and meme-able?
It is a bit funny looking but over all they are pretty cool imo

Honestly probably my favourite ungulate they could choose along with the tahr but that has pretty low chances.

Man id love the thar but the markhor lowkey killed its chance to be included in the pack unless they do a addax damas situation again, and i think id speak for most of us if i say id prefer them to not do that, even if with the late inclusion of the hamadryas the biggest sin of the arid pack has been retroactivly fixed, atleast in the grand sceme of things

Gelada AND Baboon in the same pack would make me depressed...
IDK why I think Tibetan Fox is so cool looking? But I actually get not wanting them since you want to talk an animal not found in captivity. And as far as getting both a baboon and gelada goes (I'm not big on Primates) I have to stop being hypocritical. What I mean is I was excited when Grasslands Animal Pack had Hyena and Wolf. So, whilst baboon and gelada being in the same pack would make me depressed I'd be super happy for you!

How about 3 more DLCs?
Highlands Animal Pack
Palla’s Cat
Hamadryas Baboon
Markhor
Andean Bear
Himalayan Monel
Rock Hyrax
Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby
Himalayan Scenery

Safari Animal Pack
Secretary Bird
Kirk’s Dik Dik
Coquerel’s Sifaka
African Spurred Tortiose
Blackbuck
Greater Rhea
Patagonian Mara
Safari Sceney

Zoo Keeper’s Collection Pack
Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo
Short Beaked Echidna
American Black Bear
Coati
Black Howler Monkey
Great White Pelican
Geoffrey’s Spider Monkey
King Cobra Ex
Panther Chameleon Ex

You must have played to much minecraft and just like their square head.
Easily the fox that would look the most like a minecraft fox if they wouldnt also look dead inside.
Cool animal though but you outlined the exact reasons why theyd be a pretty low priority addition

So because of life I've unfortunately missed all the post-tease discussions for the most part. What has everyone been thinking about this DLC and the future of the game? I'm just thinking we may still have support for even one more pack after this but it's hard to say for sure. We just don't know.

The dictionary was right about the markhor and baboon. I'm just really hopping for the tree kangaroo and spectacled bear. I'm kind expecting the rocky mountain elk too. I hope for hyraxes too. I know zoos house them with geladas, but what about hamadryas?

Big meh to a second caprid, especially one that seems popular largely due to its misrepresentation in Zoo Tycoon.

I mean technically they aren't in the same group so maybe just maybe? I know its a heavy dose of copium but this would be so cool to have in the same pack. Gotta admit I am just ever so slightly disappointed we got the hamadryas instead of gelada, especially if the theme is highlands.

Ok idk if I'm going crazy or not, but I thought I saw someone say this, but did someone talk about how that if this is a zookeeper's collection, that there would be "mini-themes" or whatever, and that the three we saw today were just the three in the highland/mountain theme, and that we would get other sets of themed animals within the pack (tropical, arboreal, grasslands, etc). Sounds better than what we might get with just a highland pack, but it could be too good to be true.

4 themes x 3 animals + Leopard is 13 + 187 = 200

The Copemathics

I'm enjoyer of copium myself, but even for me that's too optimistic, but I had to reply to this idea, just in case, to know who to credit later
