I think it would be easier to combine arid and alpine mountainous species rather than tropical and mountainous species. Hence why I ruled out the tree roo. I’m betting on at least 1 more African mountainous species (this might be the hyraxes best chance @Mr-Hyrax 2 😉) in the pack to fit in with the baboon also being there in the mountainous deserts. If the gelada ends up being here under some magical conditions this will be the best pack ever (to me).

Also I too don’t understand why the monal is getting more attention and requests than the golden pheasant specifically.

I got to be honest, considering Eurasia and the ibex + dall sheep I’d be fine if we don’t get any more. It would have to be something super cool for me to be interested in another ungulate when we now have so many.

Especially if it’s another mountain caprine when this pack has one already. Now if they decide to do something like a muntjac. I wouldn’t mind as much.

probably because it has himalaya in the name :D
I would also prefer golden but both are awesome

Just hope if we get the Yak, they won't do the same Wild Bulls*** as they did with the Water Buffalo because as far as I know, unlike with Water Buffalos, there isn't even a single Park that keeps wild Yaks

We have Himilayan scenery, and animals native to high mountains. While the hamadryas baboon is native to one mountain range in the Arabian peninsula , it just feels out of place. That would be like me calling a wood duck a mountain animal because you can find them in Mount Washington. Maybe it’s an Asian pack, maybe it’s a highlands pack. That theory is based on 0 basis, but maybe that’s the case? Or maybe it’s a zookeeper pack, and there are two animals per theme?

So we have
  • Mountains of Asia with markhor and pallas cat
  • Some other theme with hamadryas baboon
That still leaves another 5+ animals, that can either be zookeeper, mountains, Asia, or anything else.

Who knows, maybe the theme is climbing?

Regarding the Anniversary Animal, I think if it must be a Leopard, they should've at least given us a more commonly kept Subspecies like the Indian or Arabian Leopard

Another animal that i havent seen come up yet, but has a very real chance imo is the Japanese Serow.
They do live in the mountainous regions of the island and as far as ungulates go these look pretty different from the rest. And i think throwing japan another bone ontop of the macaque and crane so you can actually build a little section wouldnt be to bad.

Oh god not.the cursed fox. So far we have been free of the cursed macaque (except in mod form) i hope the same for the Fox.
