I'll definitely wait until they are available for credits. 
I am not in it currently but I have one and used it successfully in the CG before last which was hauling based.
It is very good to fly but its landing gear is a bit short so getting an SRV in and out can be an issue.
With the Mandalay due on the 22nd I suspect that the T8 will be available for credits from then on.
Got 2, one kept as original and one set up for cool running Thargoid mats collector, its not yet fully engineered and no weapons.
I used the mats collector for a short while on the CG, not bad performance, had a run in with I think a scout, escaped with some damage, jumped into a nearby system to effect repairs and got wiped out by some ganker in seconds
I ought to look at the T8 in more depth. However, given I have one of each ship already, including a pre built AX chieftain, I'm not sure what role I'd use it for.
Didn't they already fix that issue? I faintly remember having heard something like that...

Tbh I like it just for its big/boxy, unapologetically functional design - as if Volvo had designed a transport ship - so I will get one as soon as it is available for credits… hmm… could also be the perfect Tritium hauler*, if buying at a good price from a small refinery station… now looking forward to the the 22nd - of October I presume
*edit: the other idea that comes to mind is fitting it with 6 railguns or gauss cannons and seeing what it can do to an NPC Pirate Corvette or Thargoid Interceptor

I think Volvo's design language isn't as boring as many think.
I fear that idea is already old news. People already have done tha successfully.*edit: the other idea that comes to mind is fitting it with 6 railguns or gauss cannons and seeing what it can do to an NPC Pirate Corvette or Thargoid Interceptor

Oi! Don't bash Volvo! The 850, 740 and the 80's 240 are the prettiest station wagons of the last 40 years. Actually, almost all of their designs before the year 2000 are pretty nice.
Not boring, just angular / quite atypical - some “horns” might look good on that Volvo too… oh yep, the “rail-tank” has likely been tried already :]
Pre the slab styling they did the pretty P1800 in coupe and estate form, the coupe people remember from the old Saint TV series but I thought the estate with its all glass rear door/hatch looked better.
Now apparently they are yet another Chinese car company.
Me? Bashing Volvo? Never. But I know there are people out there that seiously think that Volvos are boring.
Almost as if they've never seen a Golf*.
*: 50 exciting years of minor changes in design.
I wouldn't say so... I'm still able to quickly identify a Volvo - unlike many other cars, where the identification process is more involved.
In Germany, the P 1800 estate had the nickname "Snow White's Coffin"...
Not the only car that had to cope with that moniker, though.
Since the permit requirement for ShinDez had been lifted for two weeks in lieu of the Thargoid attack and our fearless AX pilots (and I guess even some that usually don't do AX stuff) took the big broom and swept the Thargoids out in two or three days, I decided to pay Jameson Memorial a visit. And as my first official action, I fumbled my manual approach and got first entangled in something at the back of the station, only to mess things up while recovering and getting stuck above some other landing pad that wasn't designated for me...
