DLC18 discussion and predictions

But that is the problem with a LOT of the animals in PZ, mainly climbing ones- for example the Koala that the chances of seeing it climbing is lowered than get hit by a lighting- or the Amur Leopard who I saw only ONCE doing the iconic chill pose, the Binturong barely hanging on its tail and u can go on and on. So yh It's super rare to see them doing some animations tho I think Frontier did increase the brachiations of the Siamang but it might be just for me idk...

Still I think the siamang r a top tier animal like the model is so good and the fact their inflatable throat actually working when they doing vocalizations is SO good, so yh they are not perfect but idt any animal in PZ is perfect, maybe just the African Crested Porcupine cuz they just r.
I’ve had a little more luck with all these animals because I designed the enclosures to facilitate favorable animations as much as possible (except for leopard I’ve just barely used them tbh) but everytime someone complains about the koala I don’t understand it cause mine literally always want to go in trees. Yes they do move a little to fast but overall they are constantly trying to climb

African Crested Porcupine says hi.
Yeah well there are animals that have fantastic fur work : porcupine, armadillo, sheep, alpaca, sloth bear. But then you get something like the Highland cow. Idk we'll see where the baboon falls in that spectrum, but with even less resources than before to dedícate to the work of the new pack and seeing how the Palla's cat looks in the key art (and how suspiciously blocky the male baboon's silhouette looks i just don't expect much).

I wonder how the markhor will look with its fur.

I actually wouldn’t mind that pack

Well, we can't even see the quality of the baboon because it's only a silhouette. It's not entirely fair to pre-judge what we can't see and also to judge something based off of 1 bad animal when 8/10 the others are good. Not to mention that most of the animals that have gotten bad DLC quality, like the hyena and the binturong have gotten major updates shortly after release (apart from the tapir. Why it took so long I dunno, but at least it's good now)

With the extra time, it's odd they're not quite on top of these three.

Given the Pallas cat is the face of the pack, it doesn't bode especially well for the rest.

That said, if enough people complain about them, something might get done about it.
