If we keep thinking we’ll get news everyday this is gonna be a very long week.
Friday it is then.
They don't tease us enough.... as our wait is supposedly to last “weeks” I think they will tease us more.... but so far there is nothing like that
Frontier keeps stuff close to their chest, I’m sure even basic “teases” and news has to go under a lot of stipulation and reports.
It’s just funny that when we get news only then do we remember Frontier is usually quiet about stuff.
Where did you get those graphs from? And do they have more like it for other species?
Not that it doesn't surprise me, it's just that it's already been a week and I personally thought they were going to tease us more than release the whole DLC right away

Yeah that used to mess me up too. Idk why my school loved calling the continent the name of a county within said continent, so you had to clarify which one you're talking about, and it didn't help that I hate the way “Oceania” sounded. But when you're involved in such a widespread community as this one, ya gotta make sure you're clear on what's what

Pretty sure using "Australia" for the whole region is an older term, at least when I grew up it was a thing. But also for the whole "anyone can edit Wikipedia" is true but the moderators and editors on there are pretty strict and take their volunteer work very seriously
I would welcome any bears (ABB, Andean or even EBB) and would be super happy if all bear species made it to the game. I would like to build a dedicated Bear Park with all of them
About the controversial HBB, I have to agree that a generic brown bear would have been better. Or, maybe something else, imagine if a free update could change HBB to EBB (with visual upgrade too) and maybe add the elusive Tibetan Blue Bear to the game (it's visually distinctive and very pretty) Okay that may be too many bears, IDK
I'm quite surprised to hear that so many players don't like building for bears. Personally I think they are almost the most fun animals to build for. They can climb and swim and use variety of enrichment items, often tolerate multiple types of biomes and weather. It's nice to create "caves" for them or other nature-styled shelters.
And last but not least their cubs are adorable too.

Other people have more or less already said what I’m about to say, but I thought I should just clarify the difference between Oceania as a continent and Australia as a continent to avoid any confusion, because they mean different things and should not be used interchangeably.
Oceania is a broad region that basically encompasses Australia and most of the islands of the South Pacific. The term has no real geological or biogeographical basis, with most of the different landmasses contained within it having very different animals, plants and geological histories, but they’re just grouped together for convenience and for political reasons:
Australia as a continent, sometimes called Sahul to distinguish it from the country, is usually recognised under geological continent concepts and encompasses all landmasses on the Australian continental shelf. This includes mainland Australia, Tasmania, New Guinea and a couple smaller skirting islands, all of which are connected when sea levels are lower and therefore share a similar “Australian” fauna and flora:
Under a geological continent concept New Zealand is being increasingly recognised as belonging to the sunken continent of Zealandia, which also includes New Caledonia. So very much not part of Australia, under a continental definition or otherwise.
