DLC18 discussion and predictions

Wouldn’t it just be 10 exhibits? I would find it odd to see the tortoise cross the path and phase through a visitor.
Animals phasing into guests has been in the game since Day 1, and even happens if island giant tortoise habitats permit guests to enter. Those still cross the paths and still clip into guests. That's not an issue walkthrough sulcatas is going to "fix" and never was.

Given that the standard exhibits are 4mx4mx4m, that would make the walktrough exhibit 12mx20m (240m²) in terms of relevant space. I think people sometimes underestimate how enormous the walkthrough exhibit really is.
Imagine 15 standard exhibits put together.

Given that the Zoopedia states island giant tortoises need 230m², I'm very comfortable in saying this is enough space for a considerably smaller tortoise.
Sounds like the sulcata tortoise should be a habitat animal, given that they're held in the same yards that Aldabra and Galapagos tortoises are.

Man, a "highlands" pack masquerading as "secret" Asia Part 2 pack would straight-up kill my enthusiasm for this one. The picks would all be fine but, particularly if this is the final pack, that would be such a disappointing way to go out considering everything left on the table.
Basically the same issues as the Arid pack. The only way it would prevent me from feeling the same will be the rest of the roster. The baboon + cat isn’t too far off from porcupine + cat. So then it just depends on if we get some bird(s) or habitat reptiles or not.

Knowing that South America and Latin America could be mega screwed over for us to return to Asia after just one pack in between would drive me a bit crazy.

I’m not gonna count on it being an Asian pack until I see it.

Sigh... his whole argument is the assumption the "leak" is genuine and something needs to be the exhibit animals... and the Spurred Tortoise must be it...
My thinking is that there'd be 5 exhibit animals, with the sulcatas being the only walkthrough exhibit animal. Based on the dictionary (assuming it does indeed hold water), the rest of the spots would be for snakes and the Lord Howe Island stick insect.
Of course, nothing is purely set in stone whatsoever. It's far from impossible for my predictions to become purely wrong in as little as 3 days.
