my compium loading, this is so intense. I detected a macaw poster in large staff room. THIS MUST MEAN we are getting flying birds...RAHHH...
Oh my thinking was that if we got any news this week, it would be about 9% on Wednesday (a week since the stream), 1% Thursday, and 90% Friday, as it is the last day of the week plus it's world animal day. But I still think we will hear news by Tuesday for sure (maybe)I'm going a little higher. 15% tomorrow, 15% Thursday, 40% Friday, or 30% next week.
For sure, thanks back atchaThanks for sharing this info/resources. I had no idea!
That said, even using different forms I think I would actually prefer a more general pack theme if this is truly the final DLC. Simply because it offers the best opportunity to bring in the most number of species for the most people. If it's a highlands pack? If memory serves, this would effectively rule out 50% of the top 10 on the meta wishlist and most of the top 5. It's not a question of "fairness" so much as what would do well for the player base as a whole (and, frankly, what would feel appropriate as a way to "send-off" the game).
I agree with you that a pack with a "narrow" focus is better from a marketing standpoint but there's precedent for them doing that with the final JWE2 pack (and I might argue that a few of the Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo packs aren't so obvious too but that's not the strongest of cases).
Of course, this all goes out the window if we have more packs left but that's so up in the air I'm not even willing to entertain that idea at the moment. I'm assuming this is it for now.![]()
Can you imagine if it were labeled and "old World" pack and then they didn't do a new world? The sheer, weighty disappointment of ruined anticipation.Tbh ‘Old World’ is the only suggested theme that really fits all of the clues we’ve had so far. I reckon it’s likely we’ll get Old World and New World Animal Packs in very quick succession of eachother as a way to round out the roster
Or Anniversary pack, or sth along those linesCan you imagine if it were labeled and "old World" pack and then they didn't do a new world? The sheer, weighty disappointment of ruined anticipation.
No...better to just label it is the zookeepers pack even if it's all Asia/Africa animals.
Is that something we can see happening, the review file? I have no idea how to look at the file updates to see when they're being updated, would love to know! Also, if Frontier is giving out review copies this time around, don't they normally give those out at least a day (or a few days if there's a weekend thrown in) or so before the announcement? So if the review file doesn't update till Friday, then that means for sure Mon or Tues
It's the steamdb file named “review”. It got updated the Friday before the announcement for BarnyardIs that something we can see happening, the review file? I have no idea how to look at the file updates to see when they're being updated, would love to know!

Because it's hard to make and not nearly as popular as other, easier to make, primates like the Black Howler Monkey. Why would sifakas be unlikely? They're among the most requested species, they have a decent captive presence (Coquerel's sifaka, mainly in the U.S.), and they give us more non-ape primates.
I don't think they'd be hard to make. The rig is there, and making a model is easy. The hard part would be the animations, but I don't think that's be a heap of trouble eitherBecause it's hard to make and not nearly as popular as other, easier to make, primates like the Black Howler Monkey.
Aw man, sorry about that. Losing a pet is hard. My condolencesJust lost my Bearded Dragondevastated rn hope we could get them in game one day to memorialize him. RIP Toothless
I mean because of its complex movements, just watch videos of how they move compared to a Howler Monkey, both would require new animations but the Sifaka would probably be harder to make, but maybe I am wrong."hard to make" is according to who?
