Elephant shrew, antlion, rhinoceros beetle, buffalo weaver and the leopard tortoise. The exact species typically aren't mentioned, but you can make good cases for each of the 5.

Yes. Japan's fauna is super underrated.

I'm more confused about the African leopard, to be honest. People keep citing the Big Five, a trophy-hunting concept that is kind of the antithesis of what zoos are about.

Yeah it’s super weird but it now has its place. My school offers a trip to Africa over break (I couldn’t do because I am always busy and it’s expensive) and even if we are vet students “the big five” has been mentioned in our classes and is also sold as merch all over the place.

Of a first bet, I think @Annie_konik got the closest in animal guesses. No one really got close to guessing the limited number of animals, a zookeeper pack and no exhibit animals though.

-Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo

-Echidna (although the more I think about, has anyone checked if it's mentioned in the platypus description in the game as being the only other type of monotreme since someone said some of the animals on the dictionary are mentioned in other animal's zoopedia entries?)
-Civet (apparently mentioned in the binturong's zoopedia though?)
-Impala (mentioned in another animal's zoopedia)
-African Spurred Tortoise (exhibit animal?)

Although the supposedly leaked animals don't seem to fit any kind of specific theme when all taken together, which is a bit confusing if they really would all be in the upcoming pack.

Well I got 3 of them right besides the 3 revealed animals. Didn't see the Spectacled Bear coming but I'm happy that it did. Didn't care for the Impala anyway so glad it didn't make it in. Echidna and Secretary bird I was neutral on either. I'm kind of wishing they did include the Tree Kangaroo and Civet now though. Just having those 2 animals added into the pack with the others would have made this a top-tier pack for me.
