Yeah true, yesterday I could not find any contested systems, but wasn't really trying too hard as I had other things to do.

Power CZs should spawn as soon as there are 2 powers above the conflict threshold in the contested system I think. It sounds weird if there are no such systems at all atm.

the "Alliance" discord is all "don't attack each other, we're not enemies". Maybe a joined discord is a mistake anyway. Glad to see that strategy doesn't fly with the CMDRs .

I haven't seen any full CZ's so far, just conflicts over Power Wreckage sites and fights over Mahon/Kaine convoys. I need to take a closer look at the entire Mahon space again.

I think it's probably correct, maybe it's just an plain acquisition system until 2 powers have reached the conflict threshold, at which point it becomes contested and starts to spawn power CZs.

But that's just a guess and I have no idea whether or not it's bugged atm in some way or other.

I doublechecked the PP ingame map and checked Mahon space being sure to tag Kaine, Winters & Grom - nothing. No crossed sword symbols anywhere.

Not yet - it would need Mahon (or someone else, but Mahon would find it easiest) to undermine it back to empty, and then both powers to try to retake it the following week.

They're very difficult to detect well via Journal data.

I thought there was at least one on the map last night (though not one involving Kaine) but maybe not.

Because they need both sides to cross the Conflict threshold, but neither to have passed the Capture threshold in a previous week - and two Powers in range to start with - they're not going to be all that common, especially not in the early part of the week.

Since the Sol permit requirement has been suspended in the meantime, I'll be heading there to do some rescue missions (if any). Joined the AXI PG & Discord btw. If there's any hint of the Titan incursion crossing over to PP in any significant way I'll be sure to post any news under @Nowski 's PP activities thread.

I'm sure this has been said many times before but.... mining is way overpowered, especially compared to the little that can be done to undermine it. There's a system nearby that went from barely being exploited, past the entire exploited score scale, and well into fortified in 2 days. This rate hasn't slowed down a bit and they are on their way to a stronghold.

It is absolutely bonkers when all we can do is hack an ad and earn 27 undermining merits. Oh, and earn a fine for that... in our own BGS system.

Merits just broke out.
Monza is the way forward, there's one hotspot in the system and a small Odyssey base that buys for 660k ish, took some time to get 128Ts but holy crap that's better than LTDs or Laser stuff in Utopian space.

I was fighting for Kaine against Winters in power conflict zones in Gippsworld during the last cycle, made a lot of merits and ranks there. Have to admit that I had to see them in-system or in the Kaine Discord, not on the galaxy map. I think it's worth to also follow the merits-report channel there -- as usual, more eyes see more.
In the same cycle and in the same system, there were also power conflicts with at least one other power. I think it was Mahon. And of course I was fighting the Feds instead of allies.

That's the "other" Kaine discord, I assume, not the "Joint Alliance" one?

I can't find any, and since this is my first time I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, or there aren't any.

There aren't any at the moment.

If you use the Galaxy map and open the Power Play mode button on the left side (the one below User Data and above Thargoid War) you'll get all the Power play leaders and along the bottom you can select or deselect what Powerplay State you wish to search for - Contested (with the swords symbol) is down there, top right of that collection of information.

I tend to search for whatever I'm looking for plus the Strongholds - I find it helps as the Strongholds always show and I know its not a glitch or something weird if my search state doesn't show up.
