Popped back in here after a while just to collect thoughts.
Without thinking of crazy out of the box ideas, realistically, what is the next DLC? Give one idea for if the next one is the last one, give another if there is 2+ packs.
I think it's going to be another pretty "general" pack. I just don't see them focusing on any one specific region or biome to close things out. And I
definitely don't see them ending things on a pack focused on a specific
type of animal. Aviaries are going to be saved for the sequel; no way they add them at this stage.
Adaptations or Evolution has a shot. As does just calling it "Zookeeper 2." And, depending on what's been happening behind the scenes, that could make a lot of sense. Splitting a single pack into two, spread out over two DLC cycles, would allow PZ sales to spread across quarters while keeping things manageable from a resource perspective. And if they did the roster right (picking heavily from the wishlist top 10), went hard with some much-wanted scenery (more mesh, ample flexicolor; generic zoo props), combined with a free update that brought flexicolor to existing items and maybe added an interesting new feature? They could still go out with a "bang" while keeping the pack the same size.
If it's
two packs? Then I do think there's a shot that we get a Latin America pack and then another, final "generic" pack. I like the hemisphere idea too! Same vibes as the old/new world idea without the baggage.
I'm still pretty convinced they're going to have a strong roster for the last one and may have deliberately saved a few of the "big guns" for something later down the line. But maybe I'm being too optimistic? Haha.
