Is there a way to request the report? I didn’t realize that I had stopped getting the newsletter (over a year ago), and I’d really like to see the results of my journeys of the past decade.
Oddly the information that appears in the newsletter was the sort of information that I imagined would be available in the Codex, available at any time.
It is for the most part. Most used ship & no. PvP kills aren't though (although customer support could tell you if you asked), the special part is the anonymised comparison to the rest of the playerbase.
10 years gone by since my long awaited down load steam crashed out with the overload of down loads,took 3 days in in que to complete down load those where the days and here we are,hope it goes on its a brilliant game,a lots gone on changed from when we were bumbling around trying to figure it out,,thank elite team.
I hear ya...unfortunately everything has a cost...has for thousands of years now...the only difference is what the risks are and where they're coming from...we need to choose wisely and use all of the safeguards we wish to...Never expect my concerns to be consistent(or to make sense!!! It drives my mrs crazy!)
TBH In online communities I want to have my real name out there less and then a certain Mr Fozza Forrester just said Hey it's BEN without even thinking that I'd prefer to have been refered to as Eid... but by that time the damage had been done and there's no point being overly precious and it can't be undone, and I'd still prefer to keep a separation between online me vs offline me and and oh.. I've gone crosseyed!!!

Would have been nice to have been told about the paint job by email, but I guess being signed up to marketing and forum updates (and always have been) isn't quite enough for some reason. Still, I don't own an Anaconda in any of my accounts so it's moot really. Happy 10/40 years to me.

I can guess 10 years ago I set out to explore - I have now arrived at Hutton orbital to collect my free Anaconda.
I own my own consultancy company (security/CT/CM), drive for a national charity, do part time HGV hauling and have a family, its called time management.

I think this thread celebrates the anniversary perfectly - dozens of people throwing in differing random niche things that the player loves (it's still Stellar Forge for me) and dozens of other people complaining about one simple thing which looked easy for a studio to do and in fact is easy for a studio to do in 2024 but FDev somehow made difficult for themselves generating a shedload of unnecessary noise. Here's to another decade of it!

Been here since day 1 ( and on Elite since 1984). The last email I got from FDev was November 2023. It was only through watching Cmdr Buur that I knew anything about a 10-year email. I guess I won't be getting one!
Also on the list of people who missed the very-short 4-days time window for grabbing this - despite playing during all those days. Of course no info in-game about it, just some external sources. Ironically, even watched the 10-years old anniversary video the very day it was released, with my son...

Perhaps after 10 years I should just admit to myself that Elite Dangerous isn’t the game I was looking for.
It is never too late for that. Fortunately there are many alternatives these days, so have fun finding your game. You can always use ED as a benchmark.
