It is usually done on the rear to reduce oversteer and improve high speed stability, though that probably works better for wheels.Now, I'm no structural engineer or, indeed, an engineer of any kind so I'm kind of curious. The rear landing feet on the Mandalay are "toed in". I can't think why - wouldn't it make more sense to be paralel to the fuselage?
