I don't think we'll "know" that it's not Console Edition up until stream starts. There's been a stream or two that had Console Edition only in their title or description, but ended up discussing PC as well

Spme of those are high profile animals that just happened to have no votes though. Like blue wildebeest and quokkas are quite famous yet few people voted for them.

Then you have your nile lechwes and dam gazelles.

Yeah but never used the black woldebeest. At least for.me it was never a replacement for the blue wildebeest and i'm glad we got that one.

By adding the second wildebeest, with barely any visual difference from the first and living in the same part of the world, that's a spot that won't be going to an animal that might have actually added something new to the game...

Well yes but what i mean is that despite having the black wildebeest in base game, for me it didn't fill the abscense of the blue one. And now that i have the blue i have no need for the black one.

I still prefer the blue one. It was one of my most liked animals in grasslands. For me it was an important animal that was missing. Same thing with the black rhino. And also the visual differences are quite obvious, as well as the difference in quality.

Okay, so to correct my earlier statements. Since the Grasslands pack each animal pack has had at least one animal from the top 3 and most have had at least one other animal from the top 10.

But still. Looking at the top 20 from the time Grasslands dropped until now? We've gotten 75% of those picks (15 of 20)! That's pretty good fan-service, TBH. And I am again reminded that the "demand" for monkeys really didn't hit until very recently (an unpopular take, but the data doesn't lie in this regard).

Still really frustrated that the two tree kangaroos were split up in that way. "New World monkey problems," we'll call it.

Also: Wild watching those changelog updates. It's been updated late into the evening virtually all week. Feel bad for the programmers but... I can't help but think this increases the chances we'll be getting news next week. Anxious to see the agenda whenever that drops.
