So the asteroid base requires 72063 goods to build. Say you fill up a type 9 with around 750 per trip, that is 97 trips. This seems a pretty steep ask for a few weeks...
Most I see on Inara is 20.....this has me anxious as my squadron is small and we are finally trying to fight our way out of our home system we have been stuck in for half a decade when we got our faction put in. The one feasible way to carve our own tiny empire of a few systems without stepping on toes of our allies will be this update and already I am disheartened that even at needing 4k I will be hard pressed to get CMMs with just a few of us who work full time jobs.The CMM Composite requirement for building a Coriolis station or even an Outpost seems a little steep. An Outpost requires 3,912 units of CMM Composite which requires a bunch of system-hopping as the biggest single supply is 364 according to Inara. Should be sharply reduced as this will otherwise be a significant resource bottleneck.

For comparison, a Coriolis station requires 11,261 units of CMM Composite.
You can technically use this feature to move your faction completely if you wanted.Most I am

See the unfiltered list of systems offering CMM Composites, there's quite a few, but when I checked, 364 was the highest number in supply at a single planetside refinery base, the only place CMM Composites are made.Most I am

Greetings Commanders,
Following your feedback we have greatly increased the restock rate on CMM Composites to improve the System Colonisation process.
Taking my current position and summing up the 100 stations with the most supply of CMMs within 900ly INCLUDING 180 day old data results in 24,870 CMMs.They are not “slightly” overstated, they are grossly overstated. According to Inara's data, only 25 stations with composites have 100 or more available. I.e. 2500 composites for 25 stations with the required 13k for Coriolis and ~53k for Orbis is a complete nonsense.
Ignore me, I'm using a controller and I have to switch to mouse input to make that selection. Ok now.My game just locks up completely when I get to the "Select Facility Layout" screen - can't select anything, back out or do anything else for that matter. Have to kill the session and relaunch.
@Paul_Crowther
Kudos to all the Team - winning back reps for the game!
Smooth rollout, good features and (until now) everything works as intended -
this time FD didn´t kick the bucket but a really nice job!
THANKS A LOT for that!
All in all really enjoyable.....
Nevertheless, I have to second the other posters - CMM requirements are a little bummer
Paul has literally posted in this thread, before both of you saying CMM stocks are being greatly increased
Good news, but I do not think that will be enough. Probably should have started with an Outpost, didn't because I usually fly large ships. Currently I have to deliver an average of just over 61,500 tons per week for 4 weeks. Pretty sure I will not manage it.Greetings Commanders,
