So.... don't fully populate a bad system with max tier orbitals on your own? (or at all for that matter?)So we're talking 1500-2000 hours of work to fully populate a really crappy system with max tier orbital and surface ports, if you haul non stop, and if you have a Cutter or T9, and if you have a carrier. That's just stupid. I've been playing this game for years and my total playtime would maybe just barely be enough to max out one such crappy system. Things need to get buffed radically, this is an unacceptable level of grind.
If you saw that on Inara, that info would've been added just before the person reporting it in purchased them all. Inara's a bad source for these things.i traveled to a system that stated it had about 3000 CMM composites, arrived to find 5, it was updated 4 minutes ago >.< having a CMM famine tonight
Yes it should be the galaxy maps and on the missions panel . It it is neither, and stations are allowing you to claim a new system, then that original claim is gone.I'm not entirely sure if I lost my claim or not. Should I see my claimed colony on the galaxy map? Cuz I got nuthin on mine, but the colony ship is still parked where it was in system... 225kly away from the A star.
Wouldn't break my heart if I lost that claim, to be honest. Not sure why it decided to put that colony ship a quarter light year away from the beacon when there were PLENTY of options around the primary star.
The galaxy map DOES NOT save your galaxy filters. I have to keep clicking realistic map everytime and my filters like the stars I want to jump to are all un-ticked. There are other games that have a very small dev team that put out game updates every month. Apon just sitting in space, I got a Mauve Adder code. This game needs more corrective updates.
Okay, I have to ask, are people afraid of putting CMM next to other commodities? Like, is this going to blow up my ship or something? I'm starting to get worried now.I'm trucking the CMM last...

That sounds like a pretty critical bug. I don't feel like they'd make you eat it. If you're worried though, probably best to take a screenshot of your progress every now and then. It's so hard to get they don't want to risk a bug causing the colonisation process to crash and then losing all the CMM;s they have collected, so if you get that far and do it last it should be ok.
That galaxy map bug was before the beta. It's been around since the mandalay came out.BETA, now you know why! Of course it's going to corrective updates, it's BETA!
Just remember if something is updated on Inara it means 1) someone was there to update it and 2) everyone using Inara can see it. So in a situation where everyone in the galaxy is trying to get the same thing you should try to find the type of station that generates the commodity you want and avoid the most updated onesAll right. Got everything I need for my outpost except for CMM Composites. Sounds like we're all in the same boat. Found a settlement that had a supply of 500, and when I got there, there were 71.
This could take a minute.
