Thargoid invasion - Next target systems?

Just wanted to revisit this... having been to the Titan wrecks, yeah... something's going on... they still emit the same signal as before (though it looks... busier? Like there's multiple copies overlaid).

But the Surface Sites? I couldn't see any evidence of change/regrowth to them. The textures/lighting have slightly changed yet again... but I couldn't see anything substantially different when visiting one. I'm still keen to see a better shot of what that "head" you posted from on-foot was? I couldn't pick where that shot could have been taken, so a similar shot with more context would be helpful.
Unfortunately i was just re-posting a link to those pics, from another pilot's forum reply in that other section/thread.
Otherwise yeah i totally would be happy to provide more context if i could CMDR !

Bubble's expanding fast due to Trailblazer colonization. We're very near Thargoid territory now 😬

What "bug or feature" are you referencing here?

I'm unsure if it's relevant, but with the current state of the Titan wrecks, I did wonder if it's not actually a thing, but rather, the usual pieces have had their geometry messed up, and they're just kinda spawning on top of each other, since the pieces feel like they're overlapping or something?
By "bug or feature" I mean the old guessing game if some odd event that someone observes is intended behavior (feature) or accidental (bug).

Now in the changes list for update tomorrow:

Admittedly it will take a lot more to convince me personally that it was a pure mistake and not an early leak, but either way the reformation was not intentional, at least not at the moment!
yep sort of a bummer imo
i was really looking forward to some ACTION , more so than continual clicking 'Navigate' ui refresh for moving my FC on the hour

Edit - apparently fun wasn't allowed so these have disappeared again around about the time of this edit. Don't waste your time coming over just yet.

Well, we seem to have an overnight development of an “incursion” in the Tikurua system. See this message from AXI -

Incursion Located

Bonjour... it has been a hot minute.

So, it's early stages, but new AX conflict zones have been observed in the Tikurua system in the bubble - Alliance/Mahon space specifically.
-# Danke to < Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/1j93zow/ummm_guys_why_do_we_have_thargoid_czs_in_the/
for the report and a few people across three channels and a couple of servers for raising it
Thargoids are present within the conflict zones, no stations attacked, no missions or thargoid interdictions so far from early data, and no war state from journals.

The system is on the far side of the bubble from previous titan-related invasions, and the conflict zones are present in all modes.
As it stands (at midnight servertime) there were no random FSS signals to imply an approaching titan at this time.

Those forces willing/available near the bubble are invited to respond to an attempted push in human space, the same way humanity dealt with the last thousand systems.
Will resume more active monitoring, as best as possible.

Good luck out there.
Glory, to Mankind.
Haven’t been around to check it out yet but figured I’d throw it in for anybody that wants to take a look (and assuming we’re not looking at something unintended…).

wait wut? o_O
Shortly after I entered the system I saw people in system chat saying/asking about whether anyone was seeing AX conflict zones. They’d disappeared around the time that I edited the post both as points of interest in the navigation panel and planets/moons which had a “Thargoid” signal (visible when a landable body has a conflict zone associated to it) then no longer had one either.

It suggests this today was a mistake. We’ll see tomorrow (maybe) if it was only meant to pop up then as some sort of interim AX community goal while there is an absence of (active) Titans and the invasion content overall. There is nothing special about Tikurua besides having an ammonia-life gas giant anyway, and being in the direction of the pipe(/stem?) nebula formation.

bummer , but maybe something Thargoid-ish is indeed happening --> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/thargoid-debris-in-mail-slot-of-abe-lincoln-station.635059/ ...??
