Fumerola Aquatis, the fourth and final one for me on this trip.
What app is that? What am I up to? Too many things at once, that's what. (I had actually finished Tubus by this point.)

Just out of curiosity...
What are you guys "working" on at present?
I've just hauled my sorry behind to
Seos (yay, I got learned in scooping) so I can hop back and forth to
Sothis for Sirius Corp faction.
I'm just interested so it gives me ideas for future ventures.

(although I now prefet "The Rimmer" - @@@O7 - brilliant)
Thanks. That sounds handy. I'm not the most patient person when it comes to exobiology so I'll give it a look.SRV Survey. Every time you comp-scan something it adds one of these targets, so it's great when you land in a dust-bowl type thing and all four species are there mixed up. You can just drive around* and zap them all from the turret, then get on with collecting three the same when you know where they all are. (And obviously, usually you would start on one of them as you go, with the other species waiting for you to go back and get them with an empty analyzer)
* I mostly drove but surprise surprise sample 3/3 for bacterium needed some upside-down Asp flying to find it.
Curious. I was able to place the name tags on the hull of my freshly bought Mandalay...Has anyone noticed that, on the Mandalay, you can't display your ship name decal?
I've had that too, today. Though I noticed some distressed chatter on the X while that happened. Could have been related...I am getting a salute in my honour* pretty much every time I dock and sometimes when I leave the CG station.
I think it's because, as @aRJay asked, I have a ship kit attached. I'll try removing it later and see if that works.Curious. I was able to place the name tags on the hull of my freshly bought Mandalay...

Some pirates were eager to get some of the stuff I was hauling. But they had no luck catching me.
I've been on the lookout for a small holobanner "Catch me if you can!", but apparently, noone makes those.
And I haven't found anyone who would make custom banners, either...
I think I somehow missed that. Looks like someone didn't pay attention to the placement of decals/ship kit parts...I think it's because, as @aRJay asked, I have a ship kit attached. I'll try removing it later and see if that works.
I've just checked my Mandalay (no ship kit) I can see my ship name in the livery menu's so it might well be it's something to do with the ship kit as aRJay suggests.EDIT: Has anyone noticed that, on the Mandalay, you can't display your ship name decal? Your ID, yes. All other ships seem to be fine.
I'm not 100% sure, but have you tried EDHM?Is there a way to adjust the brightness/opacity of the FSS scanning info? I'm sure there was but I can't find it now. It's a bright sunny morning here and I'm going blind hunting for planets.
I have now... there are many settings for the FSS but after a bit of trial and error I can't get anything to make a difference.have you tried EDHM?

But thanks for the idea![]()

I finally made it to combat rank Dangerous, thanks mainly to my Krait Mk2, and more recently my Python Mk2 Lilith
It took me 10 years tough, i wasn't much into combat the first years.
Yup. I did apply a new theme in cool blues, which I like. Very easy on the eye. And you can change various bits of text to varying colours/brightness, but the basic scanning stuff seems immune to changes. This is what I have, exactly the same as before:did you "apply theme" after moving the FSS sliders around?

As you can see (or not!) the scanner spectrum itself is almost invisible. Makes it difficult verging on impossible to figure out what is in the system.
