Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Now I'm getting "Sever down for maintenance" on the launcher. I was coming in for a landing, it's Friday morning at 5:05 AM, what gives? I don't like colonization, the Thargoid invasion wasn't like this, I don't like how Frontier forces betas or updates on me.
For one, it's not 5 AM where Frontier lives and works. Also:
Hi all,

A heads up there will be some brief server downtime at 1PM UTC to resolve an issue. Downtime should be no longer than 30 minutes.

You can now keep track of any server maintenance updates here.
And

Will this be for the better in the end, it is too early to tell but it does mean that things are going to be less static.
Well, Elite has been changing over time anyway. It's very different now than it was when I started playing. People become billionaires in a week. Heck, I can make millions in minutes sometimes. And now we're adding all these new systems, which is a huge first for the game.

I'm just glad I started playing when I did. No engineering. Credits meant something. No whippersnappers on my lawn. It was a good time, and the perfect game for me at the time because it was a huge time sink and I had just retired and needed something to occupy me.

It's all good, though. I do hope that they add something I like sometime soon, though. After 2 years of the Thargoid war being the focus, and now this Trailblazer stuff, neither of which I care (or cared) about much, it would be very cool to see something added that made me sit up and take notice.

What that would be I have no clue, though. I'm probably too old and jaded now, lol.

It is about 80 miles from the California nearest to me to the Cambridge where FDev live.
head tilts to one side huh?
please elaborate

does anybody know why i could not store cmm composite on my carrier yet i can other goods as per norm
i know fd are creating artificial scarcity to control the expansion rate of the bubble........
but blocking a certain commodity from carrier storage makes no logical sense to me scientifically speaking or is it a bug?

There are many places called California and Cambridge, the nearest California is an area of the City I live in which is about 80 miles from the university city of Cambridge in Cambridgeshire, England.

Edit to add.

Probably a bug, people were storing tonnes of CMM composites at maximum sale price earlier before FDev buffed how much and how fast they dropped fast twice over the last week.

There are three in the UK. Four in Canada.
Nine in the US outside of California. Two in Mexico. And three municipios of that name in other Latin American countries...
I'm pretty sure that there are more dotted around the world. I know of at least two places in Germany that bear this name.

Cambridge is in the United Kingdom, not America. Cambridge is around 40 miles from me
