I loved their habitat at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. Though I’m biased I love everything about the tropical rainforest area.

Oh man rhesus macaque is a good one I didn't think of that. Actually one of my most wanted monkeys, literally because you can use it as a generic monkey for an Indian, Chinese or South East Asian area. Great for mixed exhibits too, Leipzig mixes them with Sloth Bears. Also you could make a really cool urban Indian style area for them. Just a really nice basic versatile monkey (they have the largest range of any non-human primate).

what is one animal that you want purely for "selfish" reasons, for example I want a hyrax because I think there neat, even though I don't really need them to build zoos I really want then anyway. Also for example, you want a animal just for one zoo/zoo recreation and that's about it. So anyway go nuts, and make it as random as possible, the only rule is no cryptids or extinct animals, besides that go crazy with your choice.

You can include any animal you want, as long as it isn't extinct or a cryptid, for example a bias pick for me would be the Dracula parrot.
A sea turtle and Marine iguana some more unique reptiles would be awesome and those two are probably my favorites and I love building marine habitats

Red wolves and ABB would be awesome as a Florida boy. And also shout out to the Coqui! Puerto Rico’s little frogs that deserve more recognition as the most vocal frogs and they give birth to full froglets instead of tadpoles!

It is partly for personal reasons, partly because I'd love seeing a smaller safari dog-like animal.
I approve of your choice of the sandhill crane. I see them all the time in my hometown.

I agree! In my eyes it's almost like a 2 for 1, since they're found in both SA and Africa. Very versatile that way.
I agree those two are more versatile. Out of those i prefer the WFWD since in find the mallard to be kind of boring to be our only duck but i wouldn't be mad if gets added.
That said i would rather get the mandarin not just because is my favorite duck but also because is probably the most complex duck there is so it would benefit from being made officially by frontier. Mod looks fantastic though so is not as much of a pressing need as it was before for.me. we just need a proper duck rig (with duck sounds) that all duck mods could be adapted to.

Honestly I'm gonna have to second the children's zoo concept, it's a really great idea considering the diversity of incredibly basic, common species those sections tend to include. I feel like the naming and the existence of domestics sets people off of it but I legitimately think it would be such a great little booster for the game, and it could easily include:
Basic small mammals - many of which are from LA (I've seen so many small monkeys in these sorts of sections)
Basic birds, especially waterfowl
Sorely needed educational props
It could also be a good way to get the "missing" domestics that probably should have been in Barnyard without being another solely domestic focused pack that would divide the community.

This might be more controversial than hot, but honestly i woudn't mind if Frontier never added another african animal to the game.
If i'm being honest the only category of animals i still want for Africa as whole is crocodiles and exhibit animals, but aside from them, theres literally nothing i would mind if it wasn't added and even those i would prefer getting similar animals from other continents.
as for the weekly hot take i would easily get a reptile animal pack with something like nile crocodile, black and white tegu, red footed tortoise and then 5 exhibit animals.
