Panther Clipper? Pit-Con.

And I'm afraid it will get the T-7 or T-9 cockpit.

If its the PC it needs to be Imperial spec and right hand drive or i will scweem and scweem and scweem

O7
It will follow the fashion established by the Mandalay and Corsair with the bridge/cockpit at the top of the ship, the style will depend on who they say builds it so perhaps the one from the Dolphin.

The only part I can see that is touching the ground is the angled leg, highlighted below, the engines at the front and back are off the ground. I think. Maybe there's another leg behind the position of the viewer?

There might be another landing gear behind the thrusters in the back. I think we're looking at the ship from the rear (stern).

Another rankless Imperial ship? Some of them aren't going to like it 😁
No, it's going to be a rankless Federal just so they can cry foul as well... 🙄

If this is a bigger, combat capable ship, it's going to make the imperial and federal ranks pretty much worthless except for the odd system permit... Even if it's not all that in combat, it's still going to put a damper on such activities. I wish there was something more to be gained by ranking up.

I was thinking it might be the ship from the ship size video, but the thrusters are deeply inset from hull. Unless that is another ship like the T-8 moored close by to confuse us... Nah, FDev's never done that before!

This ship at 5:04 is just fan-made.

Same here, they’re my least favourite bridges in VR due to their ludicrously huge size.

If the new ship is taking some cues from Prometheus then having a similar bridge wouldn’t be a bad thing to copy - it would be like a scaled up Cobra MkV cockpit.

Internalize the size of the mail-slot. Become aware of the dimensions of a large landing pad, including over-all height. Those would be the constraints of whatever large hauler we might see. FDev isn't going to invent an entire mechanic, loading via umbilical or any such, just to release a playable ship. IMO, of course.
Well, instead you could think about how not cuboid-like the Type-9 is. That's so much more true for the Cutter.
Then think about how much more cargo you could fit into either ship if you took their maximum dimensions (width/height/length) and converted them to a cuboid with the same overall dimensions.
Bingo, a huge increase on the 794 t capacity of the Cutter or the 790 t of the Type-9... And trivially fitting through the mail slot without even having to increase anything wrt either ship... (If I had to guess, I'd guess that the Cutter's total volume is well under 25% of the cuboid with same W/H/L.)

I have a feeling the landing gears will be under the hull, the engines are lifted above ground, maybe to accommodate already existing landing pads, but getting it through the keyslot will still be a challenge, it's a massive ship!
