Its a shame that we can't see its outline like the Corsair, so we can prepare nicknames.
Since "brick" is already taken by the T7, I'd vote for "cinderblock".Its a shame that we can't see its outline like the Corsair, so we can prepare nicknames.
We know this is going to be a beefy boi so for me names will have to orbit this chonkinator, chonk-bus, carbohydrate -Clipper etc.Since "brick" is already taken by the T7, I'd vote for "cinderblock".
I tried recreating the teaser screenshot with a Type-9:

Verdict: Could that other ship fit on a large landing pad? Maybe.
Half, think T7 with the greenhouse on the side. What do you think is the length of the teaser ship compared to a Type-9?
It will definitely fit the second time it comes to any particular station.Eh. It fits. Don't mind that antenna, it fits.

And I'm afraid it will get the T-7 or T-9 cockpit.I hope it gets a unique bridge/cockpit![]()
If its the PC it needs to be Imperial spec and right hand drive or i will scweem and scweem and scweemAnd I'm afraid it will get the T-7 or T-9 cockpit.
Are these like wing flaps to slow down the descent ?
Ramps to get into the ship?
Some sort of huge landing gear?

For some reason I thought the ginormous downwards thrusters were landing gear feet. But you are probably right: They are thrusters, not landing gear. Which would mean we are actually under the entire ship, rather than looking at it from the outside (like in my recreation picture). That would probably make it even bigger than it appears. The 4 thruster clusters do not support the ship. The things you highlighted are probably the landing gear.
They are both. If you look at the brightened pic I posted you can see legs between the thrusters but common to the 'pod'.For some reason I thought the ginormous downwards thrusters were landing gear feet. My fear is that it fly worse than the T-9 and Cutter...Yep, the full cube of the L pad is not really used by most L ships. If we couid hit 1000 cargo in something that would be a serious upgrade and my god I'd buy it even were it less just so I never have to fly that hunk of festering cow crap T9 again.
I hope so, I love the views from the Lakon bridges...And I'm afraid it will get the T-7 or T-9 cockpit.
Only the sidewinder and then you have to fly it sideways and hug the bulkheads...I wonder which ships will be able to pass through the slot at the same time...
The only part I can see that is touching the ground is the angled leg, highlighted below, the engines at the front and back are off the ground. I think. Maybe there's another leg behind the position of the viewer? They are both. If you look at the brightened pic I posted you can see legs between the thrusters but common to the 'pod'.
You don't think the Hauler will fit?My fear is that it fly worse than the T-9 and Cutter...

The ship kit won't have wings, it will be a series of rollers to guide the ship in... It will also have the new size 8 fighter bay that will take sidewinders or eagles...
I said fighter bay...You don't think the Hauler will fit?
