I've got 3 colonys on the go. And all in a tight 30ly triangle.
Hip 34848 is the 1st one started way back when trailblazers touched us all.
That system isn't half finished yet. But it does have a recently finished tier lll orbital.
Another one nearby is also about 50% finished. And that one shows great promise supplying steel etc as well as high tech commodities in the 10s of 1000s.
And one I've not even started which will be a beast.
Not yet sure why though but its configuration is almost perfect.
I'm hooked! Much as I h8 hauling it's being done.
Now if that huge vessel arrives life will be much easier.
Overall I think trailblazers is a big success. Probably the best rollout frontier towers have ever done.

And yes a trailblazer carrier is just 1 or 2 jumps away depending on which of the 3 i work on.

My Elite playing is essentially on pause as I felt I could achieve little with the present colonisation bugs. I am looking forward to the update when things actually work properly and add improvements to my systems. I am really hoping that my marketless asteroid base in an asteroid belt gets its market.

How do you pronounce "clypeus" though? According to EDEB, it's "Cly pooz". I've always called it "Clip ee oos".

According to the dictionary that came up when googling it is "Clip ee uss", the Wikipedia about it didn't have a pronunciation, though all that is for its use as a form of mouth part in some insects, the greek shield is a different spelling.

Guardian modules are hybrid modules created from a combination of human and guardian technology. They can be unlocked at a guardian tech broker, after which they will be available to buy just as any other module.

Top tip I think is take a ship with two PDCs on the top and park close - that will take care of the sentinel missiles for you.

I didn't realise you could buy them as normal after unlocking just one, but that sounds familiar. I may have just forgotten. It would at least make the grind less of a pain.

Daytime is definitely better. Just make sure you use a site that actually grants you a module blueprint (as opposed to a weapon blueprint or a vessel blueprint).

I remember what I did the thing for the FSD booster. It didn't go well the first few times. Then I sort of started to remember where the pylons were and it finally clicked.

Those pylons (?) though. Take a lot of shooting to power up.

I wonder if it's possible to do on foot... Hmm.

You need to hit the glowing thingy in the middle. In that case, a few shots (from the SRV repeater) suffice.

An upgraded executioner can one shot the pylon, but I still used the SRV for taking out the sentinels.

Hi All

I'm still touring those destroyed Titan vessels looking to pick up the Titan Drive components. I entered one Titan debris field and found 1 after about 5 minutes. I thought great!...this is going well, then nothing.
Jumped to a few other Titan debris fields last night and after about 2 hours of doing this I gave up as the drives didn't show up in any of them.

Okay, I'll try again later on today or this evening and see what turns up, loads of meta alloys though in all the ex Titan systems, propulsion and plenty of other Thargoid stuff drifting about, but I've got plenty of virtually everything in that respect.

It's literally years since I visited the Guardian sites. I've got the Guardian Booster unlock but I might just visit those sites again just to reacquaint myself with the associated gameplay, I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten most of it! ...I've not got many blueprint stuffs last time I checked so I may try and collect some more data & materials at some of the sites.

Is there another Frontier Unlocked tomorrow (Wednesday 30th) evening?...or is it just the update on Wednesday?
Edit...just checked Frontier Unlocked tomorrow Wednesday at 18.0-19.00. so we might get some info on the mystery 'large ship'.
