Ok. I was kind of expecting another pack tbh. But i don't really know what to expect for the theme. Like i can get behind safari of it isn't just África. Grey crowned crane and secretary bird are some of my most wanted birds. I would like honey badger and serval. The greater kudu and the gerenuk are some of my favorite antelopes but so is the blackbuck. And i still miss them mara and the coati. And want a duck. And a pelican. And we need more monkeys, specially indian and South american ones.

And tbf safaris are a thing all around the world, not just África.

But at the same time i know what Frontier would do with a safari themed pack: another zebra / giraffe or both, Impala, nile crocodile and probably serval, honey badger and some couple of randos no one really needed nor want it. So is not an exciting theme for me in that scenario.

My gut (which has often been wrong) is saying it's time for another return to Africa, perhaps something such as

Safari Animal Pack

• Serval
• Bat-eared fox
• Grey-crowned crane
• Nile crocodile
• Greater kudu or common eland
• Honey badger or gelada
• Gerenuk or impala

I'm not a fan of the gelada or gerenuk and think the impala would be a bit mundane this late in the game, but that's sort of where I expect Frontier's mind to be. In an ideal world I'd take either big antelope, but then I'd nix the second antelope slot in favor of the saddle-billed stork or pink-backed pelican, and keep either the croc or honey badger but toss the other for a guenon or colobus, but I don't want to get too outlandish here. Rock hyrax would be a very welcome wildcard, and I'm not opposed to the secretarybird either, but I feel like they might involve more work than what we should expect at this point. Banded mongoose as a safe oddball pick but I like the serval and fox too much to drop either and I think the honey badger would be far more popular.

Ideal pack would instead look something like this:

• American black bear
• White-tailed deer
• Raccoon dog
• Golden pheasant
• Black howler
• Mantled guereza
• Ring-tailed coati

I almost started to include the short-beaked echidna over the coati but they're more or less equally desirable to me so I'll go with the one that puts out more fires. If I weren't so insistent on continuing to prop up monkeys now that we've gotten a taste of what we should've had all along with the last two packs, I would be tempted to swap one of the two for the humble wild turkey, but I don't see that one going over all too well.

If Frontier could fight the urge to put another cat and/or dog in the next DLC, that would be great. We have an abundance of both by now.

I mean let’s be honest guys, Frontier has been doing long requested themes, and adding long requested animals. Now Frontier is caught up on bundles so they can focus more on the DLC.

Clearly we are getting a bird DLC with modular mesh pieces, and new perch enrichment items.

Serval and fishing cat are fine for me. Bat eared Fox, black baked or Golden jackal and grey fox as well. I just don't want the tanuki. But i would take any other carnivore over any of them: coati, civet, honey badger, marten, sea otter, etc.

I think console players are missing PC updates as far back as 1.15. I'm pretty sure they don't have peccaries, African leopards, or the updated Malayan tapirs as of now.

We do have peccaries. Last Unlocked they said the African Leopard would be coming with the next bundle. So after that it’s just the Americas pack and we’re all caught up.

whilst they normally release in November not all their cms games have and given how disastrous planet coaster 2 has been and how spread thin frontier seems to be I have a feeling they will try to delay the release as much as possible without actively calling a delay.

As others did point out though, both Zookeepers and Americas were also hinted at as Animal packs, and together with Barnyard they're all considered animal packs. So I'd say expect more of the same as we saw in the last three DLCs, I wouldn't count on it being a return to the "true" animal packs of old.

14th of May, which is a few weeks earlier than expected. Extrapolating, DLC20 could still be in July for console, maybe even simultaneous on PC (maybe even known as the "Americas & ??? bundle" for a bit, with just cover art revealed), but the potential pattern break makes any extrapolation doubtful.

The season pass bundle release dates were:

• 26th of March (Launch)
• 28th of May
• 30th of July
• 25th of September
• 3rd of December
• 29th of January
• 26th of March

What they didn’t mention was if this bundle is included with the Season Pass or if it will cost additional. Totally understandable if there’s a fee and I kinda expect one seeing as we have now received everything that was included in the Season Pass that was announced at launch.

It is sort of strange that it wasn't mentioned this time, it wasn't mentioned last stream either.

It's safe to say they aren't in the Season Pass, given the list of DLCs was established from the beginning and hasn't changed with more DLCs.

They did say "later this year". Last time they said that was when they teased that Zookeepers was coming, so I think it only makes sense to just expect a similar timeline again.

I already see plenty of people look at a summer release but frankly I think the same argument applies as last year. They probably would have said "later this summer" instead of "later this year" if they meant the summer.
