Analyzing required animals by Taxonomical group

Thank you! Below are the passerines I'd like to see:
  • Superb Starling (Africa) and/or European Starling (Europe, Asia) - I would personally prefer the Superb Starling if only one gets added
  • Taveta Golden Weaver (Africa)
  • White-Headed Buffalo Weaver (Africa)
  • Satin Bowerbird (Oceania) "you want some blue?" - Hoping people get that reference ha ha
  • Mixed Finches, these all can generally be kept together though Zebra Finches can be a bit more aggressive:
    • Gouldian Finch (Oceania)
    • Spice Finch (Asia)
    • Common Waxbill (Africa)
    • Zebra Finch (Oceania)
    • Canary (Europe)
  • Superb Lyrebird (Oceania)
  • Andean C**k-of-the-Rock (South America)
  • Red-Winged Blackbird (North & Central America)
  • Baltimore Oriole (North & Central America)
  • Blue Jay (North America)
  • Northern Cardinal (Northern Cardinal)
  • Common Raven (North America, Europe, Asia, Africa)
  • Common Hill Myna (Asia)
  • Any Magpie
  • Any Tanager (Some nice choices: Turquoise Tanager & Scarlet Tanager)
There's a lot more I could list but if I had to really narrow it down to at least get the basics for future modding:
  • Any finch type bird
  • Any corvid
  • Superb Lyrebird
  • Any bowerbird
  • Any songbird
  • Any weaver

These guys were all house together at Roger Williams Zoo, they were so fun to watch:

I’ve been to the Roger Williams zoo, but not in a couple years. Is this a new housing for these birds?

Sorry. I am not sure. I went to the Zoobilee because I had won free tickets. The last time I had visited before that was probably at least 20 years prior. I am trying to see if I can find photos. This aviary was against the Giraffe enclosure and had glass font windows and mesh back windows. I want to say it was maybe this giraffe feeding station turned into an aviary. I am trying to find an actual photo of the entire aviary and will edit once I do.

This is definitely new then, when I visited in 2023 it wasn’t there. That’s an awesome use of the space during the summer though! I like when zoos use an animal to display more of an ecosystem: think like using a beaver to display ducks, using bison to display Prarie dogs, or in this case using a giraffe to display native Savannah birds!

I want all the birds that have "superb" in their name.

I agree that Passerines are not as critical as parrots, toucans, raptors, even hornbill and kookaburras, they are similar in the way to parrots and some other climbing birds, but many Passerine species are tiny so may not be displayed well in the game. Nevertheless, it is still nice to have some Passerine species as addition, such as Andean -of-rock, bird-of-paradise, gouldian finch, bali myna, red-billed blue magpie, red-tailed laughingthrush, blue jay etc.
In my opinion, some climbing birds are also good additions to have in the game, which include:
  • Great hornbill

  • Laughing kookaburra

  • Tawny frogmouth

  • European bee-eater (I don't know why this species is not highly voted in Ultimate Bird Meta Wishlist, it is beautiful, colorful and represents European fauna)

  • Resplendent quetzal

Is it possible to participate in past discussions still or is only passerines open to feedback. I have been collecting data on captive presence of different groups of vertebrates and while I havent gotten to passerines yet and likely wont for months I have alot to say about other groups.
